Recently i am seeing many people copy pasting contents , is there any way to report to the mods?? Please take it positively.I am pretty new in this forum. Thank you.

Yes, simply click report to Moderator, with a link to the original article. There's a huge chance that the post will be removed. However if you're out to ban him i believe it would be better to make a topic here in Meta, or respond with your evidence in one of the already existing megathreads to report spammers/copy paster, as poster above mentioned. |

There is report to moderator option for this and you can report such posts. There is permanent ban for such members who are doing this frequently. If the member has done it 1-2 times and is new, you may consider dropping a pm to him and mentioning the forum rules. Some might not be aware of the forum rules and doing this by mistake. Someone also created a thread reporting these incidents but I cannot find it in the meta section right now as it is pushed back. |

Technically that is what you should do if you are seeing someone copy pasting content and posting it again, that is against the rules on this forum, reporting them to the moderator on this forum will help to eliminate those kinds of people because they are cancer on this society, cryptocurrency world doesn't need someone like them, and I hate those kind of people because they are lazy to think of their own answer. And after you reported it to the moderator, rest assured they will take some appropriate action for that, but if you are still seeing that certain person who is copy pasting, then report him again. |

I've noticed some accounts are giving bad trust on some users with no reasons because of retaliation. But it's our duty to report them for us to help contribute wellness to our forum.

Only the mods will know who reported the post. Also invalid neg trusts will probably result in the user getting removed from DT. |

Not quite sure what you meant to say, since the grammar here is a little scrambled, but most of the time when I find someone who's copy-pasted material from the internet, it's almost invariably a Newbie to Member-level member who's doing it. I don't think I've ever seen someone with a higher rank trying to pass off stolen content as their own. I'm not saying that doesn't happen, because it does, but it's usually the noobs who are trying desperately to rank up their accounts and to get paid from some of the shittier campaigns who are the most common perpetrators of this plagiarism. And when they get busted, they just create a new account and try again. It amazes me that these illiterate fools think they're just going to plagiarize stuff and get away with it, that no one will notice. It also amazes me that people do notice, given how many users there are on bitcointalk and how many posts there are. I'm happy that some people have very sharp eyes. |

Yes mostly of them are from newbies to member in rank.They get banned right away but when a higher member done plagiarism they didn't recieve any penalties,so what does it mean? do ban hammer can only be applied to lower rank? Ooops, sorry for the grammar, it was late night really  So I was about to say that it can't be just a coincidence that copy paste is done by newbies, because if someone runs a bot or does account farming (or just noob enough) it needs to start new accounts periodically, if the previous account is banned or SMAS-ed. (or this was the situation in the past, before the merit system). |

But some of these copy-pasters are more smart. They are using software which rephrase copied text. Then it's much more difficult to notice that their text was copied from somewhere. |
