No. It's not possible because Litecoin and Feathercoin use Scrypt, which is a completely different algorithm to Bitcoin's SHA256.
Plus, I'm pretty sure that the coin needs to have its own merged mining system built into the code, just as Namecoin is setup.

Yes, merge mining is possible with scrypt coins, (not with SHA256 at same time obviously).
To my knowledge no-one has been arsed to bother programming it in though. But I may be wrong.

All alt coins are in competition. Why it would help to create new altcoin merged mined with Litecoin for example. How would help it the new coin

Yes, you mine litecoin while you mine feathercoin and having full hash rate for both, not split. But the coin itself have to be designed in such a way too.
