this has been an issue with Yobit for a very long time. it is not at all new!
they don't have any balance for almost all of the altcons they have listed there. an people aren't really trading on Yobit to make deposits in first place. on top of that Yobit doesn't run a wallet for most of the coins they have listed.
if you check the status of different wallets in Yobit you can see the word "maintenance" in front of them which doesn't go away ever.
Well, most of experience traders here are already aware about yobit concern, I think it's been a long time ago when this issue was been raised up, one of those important things to remember before using an exchange is to able to double check the status of their wallets, yobit was been so popular regarding to this issue where most of the wallets are under maintenance, additional bad news is the support will took a long time before you will get any replied, worse you would not get anything.

For those who have responded that yobit is not scam (@Mhedz and @BekantanSejagatTeamPenipu),  now my latest news is that after protesting on webpages, social networks, etc ... they have frozen my account and now I can not transfer my current balance of any currency.
They have stolen all my money because they do not respond to my tickets or to chat or emails or anything.

I would not call slow to not answer tickets three months ago, I call it scam directly.

The exchange is awful. I used it for a long time. They appropriated my money. The situation developed during the fork when they changed the address of my wallet. I did not notice this (I agree, there is my fault here too, I should have been more careful, but this doesn`t cancel the fact that this exchange is a scam). The support service didn`t reply to my messages. It is impossible to calculate how many people they deceived. Do not mess with this scam, there are many other normal exchanges.

I have been answering 2 support tickets for more than two months.
They allow the purchase in btc of COX and do not allow the sale when they can not be moved to another exchange. Yobit is stealing user's coin in that way and it's not the only currency they use to cheat. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM
Yobit doesn't have the best reputation around the forum, so before putting your money in any exchange you need to check for reviews on the Internet especially reviews in this forum if you did that you could have been able to avoid putting your money in that exchange since it is very easy to find a lot of irregularities on that exchange.

We have heard so much complaints against Yobit that I wouldn't be surprise that you will be another statistics to the growing number of complainants.  Grin. And I'm sure that its a expensive lessons for you to make dude. But thanks anyways for the fair warning.

If you just go around the scam accusations, we will see many many complaints against them. And for those who have been around this game for too long, have totally moved out of Yobit and venture to other exchanges such as Binance.  I'll give you a tip, go here: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ and you can see that Yobit is below, #36. Enough said!!!

Definitely so. However, the 'normal' exchanges you're referring to more often than not have far stricter policies they handle when it comes to verification, and they don't have as many shitcoins listed. People make use of Yobit exactly because of how soft and non caring they are, and due to the insane number of shitcoins they can buy for peanuts. I think it's safe to say that with how stricter exchanges become in current times, the more Yobit will grow, and that's not exactly something to be proud of.... Yobit can and may disappear at any time of the day if it wants, people should clearly acknowledge that, and not just assume that it will remain operational for ever. Playing Russian roulette with your funds is just stupid....

Support solving issue is the main problem on why people merely hate that exchange. The dev doesn't even bother to update on what they are lacking that's why they remain shit as of now so i cant blamr people to hate it since the owner is so irresponsible and might they will takedown if this keep occuring. Its better for us to leave on much safer exchange since it should be the one chosen for safeguarding our funds.

There is other site of yobit that in first look you wouldn't notice that is a scam. Me and my friends got scammed by the yobit that we think that is the secured and real exchange but we didn't noticed it, so when we sign in our username and password, our coins has automatically traded for btc and it is the reason why those coins had been dumped in their prices. So be aware of it.

Yobit has been around for years but they haven't improved in term of support. I believe this is just technical error considering their numerous users that flooding their system. There is other sides of Yobit that you should aware of before you accuse it SCAM. It's really not recommended to trade unknown cryptocurrencies there. Trading major currency like BTC, ETC, DOGE, ETH and others is much safer. I hope your issues can be resolved soon.

I know about bad reputation of this exchange,  they listed many fraud coin and pump dump coin. And sometimes for buy and sell activities that show in their exchange just used both and not real from trader.  There are alot others legit exchange so will be better dont use Yobit and will be more safe to use others like Binance, Huobi, Kucoin.

The main disadvantages of Yobit are their awful support and technical problems with depo and withdraw. However, they offer the highest price rates of the most popular coins, which can only increase your profit during the global price corrections. If you are not going to depo more then 10000-15000 USD in coin equivalent there is nothing for you to worry about.

Thank you for the important information! I have heard many negative reviews about this crypto exchange before. And I have decided that I would never work with this exchange.

Yobit support problem is nothing new. A lot of people lost their money in trying to withdraw them from yobit - you aren't the first, and you won't be the last.
new problems continue to arrive in Yobit and people are starting to withdraw from yobit for fear of losing their money. hopefully there will be an increase of yobit for their security and support.

Is that mean yobit selling fake coin or they are selling non existing coin. If that is proofen like that yobit is manipulating market, then dont ever trade on that website again if you wont support market manipulatuon. Market manipulation will make a whole cryptocurrencies hurt like 2014
