Hello there,

I've never invested in crypto before, been doing a bit of google search and stuff but the articles I've read seem to be very "PR-ish" and don't feel legit. I was suggested to come to this forum on Reddit. What Crypto do you suggest me to look into investing for the first time?

Thanks in advance!

BLUE. Their goal is to protect blockchain users and applications with their SDK that will be released. They already have a running wallet and everything. They definitely have a ton of potential and have done a lot since their initial launch. It's one of those coins hiding in the shadows that has many places to go!

Suggestions would lead into speculations, what i do suggest is to start reading each whitepaper of every coin im the market,do a little background research,go to github find the developers activity ,check the profiles if these people are legit, team credibility? is the coin has a good working product/services? there you will morelikely know if the coin is worthy investment or not.

I wont be suggesting any coin so you will find it yourself which of these thousand shitcoins may give you good gains in the future.
Do not rely on people's suggestion because different people will have different point of views.

You will get many people here who will try to promote a particular token/coin in a non "PR-ish" way just because, they may be involved in the dev team, they may have huge amount of that, and they regret that investment now and want more people to get involved to get something back, etc.

You will only get few good ones, if lucky.

I would suggest you to head towards CoinMarketCap, and check the top 100 coins. Think of the amount of money you have to invest. Try to buy atleast a couple of token/coin rather than a part of a coin/token.

Like if you have $10 to invest, don't buy token's which are more than $5 for a single piece. In this way, the risk is higher, considering if it goes down, the effect is equivalent. But the profit can be high as well, considering a uptrend.

Once you have few selection on the price, now check the project, if you think they are good, go with your instinct and your knowledge. Why both? Because, it's crypto, knowledge alone won't help now. There are lot of FUD, Pumps, etc in crypto world, so any coin can go up or down, sometimes irrespective of their technology, team or anything.

If you want to play really safe, then you can go with the top 5 or top 10 coins. Divide your total money into 5 or 10 parts, and buy from each of the top 10 coins.

Start with the top 20 coins in the coin marketcap read each whitepaper and right down the pros and coins you will find what are the reasons why they are in their current position, fundamentals and technical analysis should be considered too,as you are considering the team development and the people behind each coin, credibility and assurance that they can achieve their roadmaps.

Do not rely to people's suggestions.

Don't invest with anyones word. Just take names and search them. Don't go big if even you are on profit.  Share your investment to coins you like.

You can search this ones and read about them. My choices:

LTC, AION, XRB, Singularity, Neblio, Substratum

The people here will only be suggesting project they are deeply invested in to you, you need to be very careful about the information you get from people, what I notice now s that no one want to do their due dilligence by research the space properly before investing into any project

You better stick with bitcoin since you are only a newbie in crypto investment. Or if you want to invest in an altcoin, you have to make your own research and studies about the coin you will invest. Not all altcoin are worth for investment so you must choose very carefully if you are going to invest.

MTC (Marinecoin) is one of best coin to choose now.  You can buy MTC here: https://f1cx.com/.

But now,  you can sing up and join the bounty program to get 450.000 MTC free. And what happen if 2 year later, 1 MTC = 1$ or more? It's mean you can change your life. Every think can be happen with crypto currency because the Vol market still low.

So why Marinecoin can get price 1 $ per coin? These some summary, but you can check more information in their website: https://marineco.in/:
- It is 500 times faster than that of Bitcoin.
- New update to avoid hacking.
- Very low fee.

And you can check more information here: Bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2971179.0

Don't for get  join quickly to get free MTC coin (only fist 20k member get 450.000 free coin)

Id suggest if you're new to crypto then invest in top alt coins and a low price like Carnado, EOS, IOTA and etc etc since they're already popular and proved something in the cryptoverse and also dont forget that they all have potential to pump in the future so if I were you ill buy now since price dip is currently happening.

This is a very good advice, dont want putting others into a bad situation when the market has gone wild, these altcoins doesnt have stability especially those low marketcap coins, that is why you need to pick those solid coins over these bunch of shitcoins better to research and know it yourself instead of asking random people which is which.

You are right, he needs to learn more about each altcoin and only like that he can find altcoin that is interesting for him. Most of the altcoins are new, not yet fully developed, we are investing in their future. I wouldn`t call them shitcoins, some of them are exactly that, but there are serious projects, with great teams behind, and amazing plans for the future, who succeed in realization will have a higher price then now in beta stage.
Cause there are so many altcoins the best in my point of view is diversification, have more then one, maybe cause of that invest first in bitcoin and later buy with that bitcoins other altcoins, with each purchase save a bit of bitcoins in wallet with the rest buy some altcoin you like and like that for years.

.
.BIG WINNER!.

One of the most obvious choices would be well-documented coins like XLM or KMD.

Do your own due diligence - and don't take it as financial advice, but I would give CombiCoin (COMBI) a try. It will give you exposure to the top 30 cryptos and limited exposure to each.

I would suggest to save your money until you more or less understand how this system works, in other case there is the strong possibility to lose your money.

In Actual that is a type of the newbie dear that is giving in your mind impact that you can't easily make much earnings or you have bad luck or may be happen many things that are doubtful whether to do or not .
So here currently I can't suggest you any altcoin but suggestion for you to see those coins at that which is fluctuating more and which one is not and what is type of the interval of change in price and than found that which is perfect time to invest ( simple example formyou to go in bitrex exchange ( here at you will get many coins which very small small  priced , so better to buy them at any better exchange ) .

I suggest for you to learn more about having altcoin before keeping them in your wallet, letting your money be all converted to coin and without enough knowledge to multiply it and you may lose some along the way and you will blame Bitcoin for it.
