The revolutionary cryptocurrency e-commerce platform built by the community for the community.

As you know, Satoshi Nakamoto envisioned a fast, cheap, and most importantly trust-less payment system that would enable users to transact freely without the need for a 3rd party. Fast forward to 2018 and there's still only a handful of businesses accepting Bitcoin (and / or altcoins) as a payment method.

We know a big part of the community is really passionate about Satoshi's vision and sees Bitcoin and other altcoins as payment methods and not just another trading asset. For this very reason we've decided to fill the void in the market and build Blockify, a platform where anyone can buy or sell goods or services in exchange for crypto.

The platform is currently in the development phase and we need your support to see this project through! If you would like to be updated on our progress, please head over to https://blockify.store and sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop! As one of our early supporters you'll also get the ability to decide on which features you would like to see implemented.

You, the community, will shape the platform the way you want it to be.

==========Main Features==========

  • Anyone can buy or sell goods or offer services
  • We only require the bare minimum information (username, email, password). Any other information is optional.
  • We will do our best to support as many cryptocurrencies as possible, giving community picks priority. (Early supporters get to pick the first coins to be supported at launch!)
  • Simple Escrow: All orders are eligible for our free escrow system to ensure safe, trust-less transactions.
  • Multisig Escrow: Orders over 0.005 BTC are also eligible for our free, high-security, multisignature escrow.

Few concerns (even though it's a work in progress):

1. Can we know more regarding the experienced developers, behind this upcoming platform?
2. How escrow providers are chosen for your platform?

Thank you for pointing this out. At the moment we have one developer on the team. We understand the text on our website is in plural and that it might cause some confusion, but our team will grow if the service we provide will satisfy your needs. As per his qualifications, he's a software and web developer proficient in Java, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL. He has over 7 years of experience with the aforementioned languages. Frameworks such as Laravel and ReactJS are also his strong fields.

We are planning on building our own escrow system to assure the best user experience, but we're open to suggestions. If you would like us to support some 3rd party escrow providers let us know and we'll be more than happy to look into them.

I hope we've answered all your questions to your satisfaction. If you need more clarification regarding anything let us know and we'll be glad to respond.

Interesting idea, but i've some concern such as :
1. Once this platform become big, surely some government will take legal action against crypto usage, especially since you don't ask personal information. What will you do?
2. Do you allow users sell/buy restricted/illegal product such as adult stuff, drugs or weapon? (I hope you won't allow this)
3. Are there any fees for seller/buyer?

1. We have thought about that as well. We came to the conclusion that in the beginning we shouldn't really have to worry about the legal aspect of things too much (as far as KYC is concerned), but if this project does turn into a business we most likely will have to require some additional information from users. Until then we'll do our best to offer our users as much anonymity as possible.

2. Absolutely not. We are strictly against all restricted / illegal products. The platform will be regulated by moderators to keep good like these off our platform.

3. Yes, there will be a minor seller fee so we can keep the servers running. A 3% fee sounds reasonable to us, but nothing is set in stone just yet. The platform is still in it's very early stage of development so there are a lot of decisions that need to be made. We are also thinking of adding a system for fee reduction. Maybe once a user reaches a certain level the fee would be reduced for them. This is just an idea we had so there's no guarantee a system like this will ever be put in place.

Wouldn't be it better to make a Blockify plugin in e-commerce platforms such as the successful one Shopify?

Yes, absolutely, but we would like to create our own platform so we can have full control over how things work. In our opinion this approach will let us fulfill more community wishes and shape the platform to the needs of the community instead of having to work within the restrictions of an already existing platform.
