Always a pleasure to read creative content from less-established users, gave you some claps for that story. The good writer can draw comparisons with so much, though I guess your readership might benefit from a knowledge of American history for those names to register something on them!
P.S. Columbus wasn't the first to make his discovery, but was certainly one of the first to have his claims recognised. It's a good thing we have open source idealists among bitcoin developers, not rushing to patent everything about the tech! All credit to Satoshi, but we should give a hallowed nod to those before him who tried earlier concepts but failed... like bitgold, b-money, etc.
P.P.S. The indigenous peoples probably do not share the same enthusiasm with people like Columbus, but it's nice to know that Bitcoin (from my view anyway) did not displace innocents.
I am new to writing so your feedback is excellent, thanks so much for the claps and for reading.
I have a passion for innovation throughout history and the adoption of these discoveries.
My own background is in banking technology, blockchain is fascinating to me the more I learn.
Hope to write a longer piece next time with more accurate info
