looks like your research equates to about 20 seconds of a google search. missing out vital points.
the main one being
Satoshi Nakamoto has had a UK English based education. this is based on his writings being in the UK English grammar and spelling, as oppose to american.
many other people have tried looking into it. so please reply in those threads with better evidence instead of opening a new thread with little to no evidence of the links between nakamoto and whomever you find

And in 5 seconds more, would have found the following: I'm not going to speculate on identity because it doesn't matter. My guess is he or one person of "they" were a fan of Pokemon (Satoshi Tajiri, creator of Pokemon, and the producer of the first game boy game, Shinichi Nakamoto). Another thing someone once pointed out: Although he never written in Japanese, let us look at character meaning in Japanese name. Satoshi has many different ways to write, but Nakamoto is same by 99% of surname.
中本 - most common way to write nakamoto
中 - inside or middle 本 - book, or using in word meaning is like main or original
智 - best way to write satoshi, used in words like wisdom, knowledge, a sage. Hence, "wisdom in story" or, perhaps more eloquent: "wisdom in origin". These both could have been a basis for the name.

so there you go, british education and a superfan of pokemon (nobody researches and adopts the name of the creators of something unless they superfans) the being a superfan narrows it down to an age bracket of the under 30yo(to have been at adolescent age to enjoy pokemon) and over 20 (else he would be adopting twilight or beiber based names as nicknames) now that should narrow it down for you

why you guys want more information about Satoshi he is anonymous its ok for him otherwise NSA or FBI will take over him
i personally don't care who he is, im just poking at those that are investigating him and feeding the trolls. but in seriousness if he was to be found, exactly what information can NSA or FBI garnish from him that they cant get by simply reading the white paper or opensource code. if there was any reason to arrest/question anyone related to making bitcoin functional, these days it would have to be GavinA and his team of coders. because as of today its only them that would know any backdoors or all the weaknesses for governments to use/abuse for whatever reasons they desire.. should they even have desires, which i do not think they do...

Here is a stab at it:
Taken from the point of view it is time to get control of money out of the hands of banksters, corrupt governments, and other financial terrorists:
Sat - a Sanskrit adjective meaning "the ideal; pure and true essence (nature)" of an entity "the self-existent or Universal Spirit.
Oshi - the game of Oshi. Oshi would teach the emperor and his court that influence was power but should be used cautiously.
Nakam - former Partisans and other Jews who survived the Holocaust. They traveled wearing British uniforms and arrested many Nazis and secretly tried them in an instant field trial. They called themselves "The Avengers".
Oto - important
Note: I simply broke the name apart and did some wikipedia searches in about ten minutes for the fun of it :-)
Trying to decode the name reminds me of Forrest Fenn's famous treasure poem

What is going on here? We have this: http://unenumerated.blogspot.com/2005/12/bit-gold.html describing, basically, bitcoin in Dec 2008 according to the page (although the url says 2005?). He says he's been thinking about it for years. Meanwhile, Satoshi published the whitepaper in, what, Nov 2008? Either misleading or mindblowing. Was that really written in 2005? The first comment refers to a 'recent' link, and the link appears to be from 2005...

So basically either Nick Szabo is Satoshi, or Satoshi was inspired by this guy, but changed it from Bit Gold to Bitcoin? There is a comment on that post from "Patrick." I found that interesting as he was apparently in the process of developing an electronic currency at that time. Following his profile info gets you to these links: Patrick's profile http://www.blogger.com/profile/08715549273489573543Blog - Information Currency and Information Engineering - Information currency ( http://infoeng.sourceforge.net) and its applications. http://infoeng.blogspot.com/Blog - Rothbardix - Technology for liberty and justice. http://rothbardix.blogspot.com/The sourceforge project page ( http://infoeng.sourceforge.net) doesn't work too well. The very first time I went there I was able to get to the code download page. I was going to go back and download it but now only get an HTTP 500 error when I try to go to any of the project links on the project home page. [EDIT]I was able to download the code. The files I have looked at so far are Java source files. I can't put any more time into it until much later today.[/EDIT]
