This might be a sign that they will create a coin, just like what I heard from Facebook, they banned crypto ads and ICOs because they are planning to create a coin. It may affect the profits of ICOs but still they can advertise in different sites.

We could have seen that coming after Facebook banned crypto ads. In February regulators asked Google to band crypto ads too. Maybe we'll get anti-crypto ads next, just like the tabacco industry is forced to do.

Anti-crypto ads will be funny with taglines like:

1) Do not invest in crypto or you can become a millionaire

2) If you child starts investing in bitcoins in school, he may not need to go to college.

maybe google just wanna make its own crypto things, who knows. but ban ICO ads sounds not democratic

this could be possible because google has a big money and I am sure that google can do this with ease. but I don't think that google really wants to ban ICO ads because from this ICO ads, I guess google itself makes much of money so I only think that maybe google wants to manage their ads so people will only see related ads and maybe google wants to control which ads that will be shown in every site. This is a bad news. Since the embarrassment of encrypted advertisements has been banned, other platforms have also introduced policies. I think this is not FUD. It is only because they prohibit some false ICO information. Therefore, all ICO projects are banned.

regarding this issue there are no any official statements from google company that they are going to implement this so what we can do is just wait for their official statement I believe that Google company will studying carefully the possible results and outcomes of their decision if they are going to implement this policy what they can do for now I think is regulate

If this would happen, then obviously it will be the very bad news. Though BTC market is self regulating but still the number of investors is badly affected by the negative publicity. there are many factors that google should consider or considered why they will ban crypto ads.

1. is that ICO can be a legit one or the fake one.Since google advertisement is the most use advertisement in the world they have the reputation that if they are keep on promoting scam and fake ICO people will not belllieve and trust their products because of that Google company are just protecting their customers and clients.

2. ICO ads should declare all the terms and conditions and the risk of joining in their platform proposed.
3 Banning of ICO ads is not the total answer I think regulation will be more accurate. Regulation in crypto advertisement is mucch better than completely removing them because there are legit ICO and they will have a big revenue from it.

This is not a FUD but a real news. People are making this news as a negative one but if we analysis it, it is actually good for the crypto industry.
What happens these days that many scam ICO gives their ads on social media and many newbies in bitcoin world tends to invest in those ICO without any knowledge and in return only gets their hard earned money lost. So i think it is a good step for us.

Wow, that is a new thing. And I absolutely agree with you. Many people try to bring crypto down, but here we are, crypto and the world of Bitcoin keep growing fast. Actually, even if google ban and do not promote Bitcoin anymore, it is okay. Because people around the world are already know about Bitcoin and always discussing about it in social media, online forums, some meet up, and much more. There a lot of ICO and new Altcoins that will take over this business and people will start to learn about crypto world. Especially about the Bitcoin, that is the mother of all cryptos.
