Having a KYC when doing withdrawals from exchanges or digital wallets is not a problem I think because it was reasonable. Like on the digital wallet I used, it requires KYC because they only want to verify that the source of my income do not came from illegal stuffs and can have the power to hold my savings if that's the case, it was all fine for me. But saying that every ICO now requires KYC as well? Nah! That was too much already. I strongly disagree on that concept because I can't see any valid reason why they wanted to get the vital infos of their buyers.
This is also my concern where every ICO are asking for KYC now because its too risky if you fill up the form they can sold your details or use it against you. I’m not totally against KYC because I also fill up the form on the exchanges that I trust, but limit yourself with only good project for your own safety.

I never come to be afraid of KYC since there is nothing to hide from this though everytime this was been asked whenever I participated in bounties or some transaction that it is needed, theres always on my mind that has a second thought because of my security’s for the reason of having glitches from the scammers or hackers but in totality if i found the asking is legit theres no doubt that i will present it all the way

Yes, sometimes I feel afraid when I have to give my legal documents to be able to access further, this really makes my heart beat. The risk is enormous, especially seeing the crypto world is very vulnerable to hacking. We must be careful and more mature to carry out KYC procedures. It's better to choose a place that can be trusted. I only do KYC procedures on sites that really have trust and are safe to use. I only hope that my data is safe and not misused.

It is always a thing to fear..because it can use for other things than what it initial use...but all in all.if it requires of us we have no choice than to do it.note: it is done to reduce fraud and can also be use in fraudulent act

Well, when it comes to the level we cannot get any project without ICO, then I think I will do everything possible to get all necessary documents available. I am actually presently avoiding all KYC projects because I have the options of the non KYC projects available. And I know I'm not the only one in that condition.

As long as the user's information and data in a safe place and avoiding hacking will be better, because what we fear is that KYC is widespread and harms its users. but as long as the government keeps it only in the interest of reducing crime it is not a problem

We've heard it many times and those leaks became a good business for others so we definitely need to be afraid and be extremely careful at the same time. But I think Facebook is still much dangerous than KYC because Zuckerburg sell all our datas like everything about us while KYC is just the passport.

In resent crypto world kyc is common for all exchange platform and ico's. It has good and bad side. One side is kyc fights against scammers, Alt account and spamming  and other side it acts as risk. Most of the ico's now scam and they collect kyc procedures also. So I think most of the scam icos collect kyc procedures for doing ilegal activities. So we should aware  about kyc. We should not submit kyc to any untrusted site or ICOS.

Personally  I don't afraid about kyc for trusted exchange like binace, bittrex, and other high reputed exchange. But I afraid to submit kyc for any ICO. Thanks

I don’t like it when the project requires you to go through KYC . There were too many scammers and nobody knows what they can do with documents later. Those who want to avoid passing the KYC, can simply buy other people's documents. I think that KYC is useless.
KYC document buying is wrong thinking because some KYC asking face cam and selfie with including their documents. Just you can take chances to using family member documents and i think it easy to collect. But i don't think KYC is useless.

I can see that soon almost exchanges and even ICO programs will be requiring us to do the KYC procedures where we are required to pass copies of our legal documents before we are granted entrance or the use of the services or programs we are interested with. This can be as common as having a password or 2FA.

Now, personally I have no big problem with it though just like anybody else am also concerned that my personal information can be divulged to anybody or a group that might use it for any illegal purpose. This is one risk we are facing once we are actively living in the online world. Evil people who can be thousands of miles away can now be just one click away.

What are your apprehensions about the KYC procedures that will soon be as popular as noodles?
I do not think that soon everywhere, including in all ICO campaigns, KYC verification will be used. In any case, now many ICO teams are refusing to use KYC checks against bounty hunters. For example, the Terra Green campaign, which launched the second round of the four planned ICOs, explicitly stated in the second round that, due to the current situation in the cryptocurrency market, they abandoned the KYC check scheduled at the end of the ICO. After that, the activity of bounty hunters in their campaign signatures increased markedly.
Once the Internet has begun to openly trade our confidential data, those ICO teams that wish to ensure the high activity of bounty hunters in their bounty ICO campaigns should consider whether to carry out such a KYC check against bounty hunters or not. After all, such a test for bounty hunters is illegal.

In my opinion, everyone has the same concern about that, where KYC is so popular lately. It's time for everyone to care about their personal data, and as a hunter I don't agree to this application just to get some coins or tokens.

Yes, I, too, are already pretty tired of KYC. They are everywhere. At first I was very afraid to share my information, but then I overcame my fear, but the distrust remained. There is no guarantee that a stranger will use your information, and information for KYC is being requested more and more. With the process of putting on the KYC you need to approach carefully and individually.

This is the real cause of worry as if their are exchanges which either government has given them licence to run then it become more trustworthy but that is not the case. So now we are left with only choice that we only give the KYC to the best reputed exchanges or only to whom we know that it would be safe to provide the data and nothing wrong would happen.

It's correct. I hate KYC. I don't want to disclose my personal information to anyone. Some ICO even requested to provide personal address and proof. What do they need that information for? Any database may be stolen or sold to criminals. I will reject any ICO, which requires KYC.
I strongly agree and support what you say, because the fear you express is the same as what I think right now with the KYC problem.
My protection is to avoid all ico associated with KYC, but sometimes it is also disruptive from some projects that did not initially include KYC but in travel it is compulsory KYC, so we are stuck in a way that is not good in my opinion. is there no other solution for the obligation to do KYC, as long as there are efforts to improve there must be a way that can be taken without coercion with KYC.

I'm not afraid  but at the same time kyc is very tedious and sometimes takes long time to authenticate. Therefore its not all project that should request for it. Imagine doing kyc for airdrop that will eventually give you shits that won't amount to anything good. The emphacy on kyc is becoming alarming as against what it used to be. If nothing is done a time will come whereby every transaction will begin to demand kyc. Giving out your life time data is a huge risk.

What I do is to compare and contrast the risks and benefits involed before embarking on kyc.

I am not afraid of KYC, because I feel I have not violated the law. Without realizing it, our data is actually everywhere, including vehicle loans, home loans, Facebook registration, etc.
So, think positively and always do without breaking the law so there is nothing to fear. Regarding cryptocurrency, when withdrawing money from a place where cryptocurrency is exchanged, of course KYC is needed.

You have not violated the law that's why you never afraid to pass KYC. But Anonymous project developer or dishonest people in everywhere actually they can anytime violate to using your personal documents that's the big problem i think.

Due to the KYC checks at the end of the ICO, I have not received their tokens in many campaigns after having participated in ICO projects for many months. In some cases, due to the fact that I cannot provide some of the required documents, and in others, purely because of technical inconsistencies in this matter on the part of the ICO team, multiple changes in the order and conditions of passing the KYC inspection, as a result of short deadlines and . In general, KYC verification is another fraudulent way for unscrupulous ICO teams not to pay the tokens we earn. Therefore, I simply no longer join the ICO, where even the possibility of a KYC audit is announced.

KYC checks in cryptocurrency will never be popular. This is happening now, in the period of the “wild”, unregulated ICO. Now the ICO teams are heavily abusing their position and require our confidential data from investors and bounty hunters that they are not entitled to demand from us. With regard to bounty hunters in general, any KYC check is not legal. KYC verification has the task of preventing dirty money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism. We are not investors in ICO projects and therefore should not pass such a test. KYC testing should be carried out only for the purpose for which it is intended. Otherwise it is a violation of our rights to confidential information.

until now there is no problem, as long as we do the KYC vertex in a safe place if we doubt it is better not to do it because our privacy data is very valuable and the network is misused by irresponsible people.
