its unfortunate that  we cannot control how and where Bitcoins are used and by who. the fact that Bitcoin has been used as  in the dark web and by criminals has created concerns by the national governments.. This is an area of concern that should be focused on but the freedom Bitcoin offers makes it impossible to regulate its usage.

I wonder if this cryptomarket will end up to have like high marks on the mafia-market and if people would start to make like ''crazy'' decisions when it comes to BTC !!
It can happen, because as we know, bitcoin can be accessed by anyone, and not bound by any country. It is difficult to anticipate such a thing, preferably bitcoin rights holders can provide the latest breakthrough on security systems in order to anticipate people trying to use bitcoin for criminal use.

With the advent of bitcoin, special interest was attracted to him by those who have something to hide. It seems to me that crypto currency is still far from ordinary money.

Either Bitcoin or fiat money, these criminals don't care. These criminals are present and have solid backings in top positions in each country. Bitcoin has its own blockchain that is black and white and can never be edited.

This is one of the issues that haunt Bitcoin since the start but authorities have been dealing this effectively, this is the only downside of Bitcoin and other decentralized coin but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

For sure every technology can be use for good and bad. So bitcoin can be use for  criminality that is the bad side but the good in bitcoin and cryptocurrency out weigh the bad side.

Yes, of course money laundering is an issue with a growing concern over it's usage by terrorist to laundered funds to their various links using bitcoin, considering the anonymous and decentralized nature and most wallet does not requires KYC this makes it even more difficult to trace any fund using bitcoin.

There are chances to increase the Criminality rate, as the BTC settles down the payment with anonymous behavior. It does the Peer to Peer settlement, but we cannot track the address or other information of the parties involved here. This BTC payment system is used to buy and sell Arms & Ammunition, dangerous Weapons, Illegal Drugs, and also for the other terrorist funding activities. And that is the reason many countries are banning them and they will make them legal in their country with proper management and plan them with strong regulations.

It will likely to happen because money is involved, when money is involved pretty sure that there will be crimes to be done. BTC has been popular these times that makes it a target.

I do not think so. evil always exists of any kind and wherever it is. I do not agree bitcoin can increase crime in cyberspace. the impact of rising bitcoin is a solution in the level of transactions and convenience without third parties.

The increase in criminal activities doesn't depend on Bitcoin, it has been used as a form of pay for criminals but it doesn't mean that BTC is the reason behind increase in crime, before Bitcoin there was crime, and after Bitcoin, criminals will find another way to run their activities, BTC therefore has very little to do with crime.

That’s a possibility. Anonymity and untraceable transactions are two of the many reason why the criminal types are attracted to cryptocurrency. Governments should start making policies that would deter these people from giving bitcoins a bad name.

I read somewhere that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Monero, and Verge were being used in the Deep Web prior to 2016. I'm quite sure they're still being used there today so it's just safe to say with the non-regulation of crypto in general, criminals may have their hands with crypto and use them for malicious activities. I hope the whole world can regulate crypto but that will cause a chain reaction of more taxes and stricter measures with crypto.

Simply, many can lose interest without seeing a way out of the current situation in which the purse can calmly empty and even who and how is unknown. Therefore, cardinal methods are needed to close all delicate places for criminals.

There is no question when it comes to that topic. Obviously, money is the root of all evil in this world full of greedy people. And Bitcoin has an amount that is no joke, and bitcoin can be used in different criminality aspects such as drugs, etc.

Actually is not that Bitcoin rise criminality rate just we humans always take illegal advantage of something most especially when it is not well known. I believe bitcoin has been used for so many criminal activity even up till now. Most people here that name bitcoin and love to know more about it the end up falling into wrong hands which will make them never to trust the community again and some people are also there advertising the sales of Bitcoin and they non or know nothing about cryptocurrency not to talk of the bitcoin itself.

Cash is also very convenient for criminals, but no one talks about it, everyone says that crypto currencies help criminals. This is inspired by the governments of different countries.

i think when cryptocurrencies has been used all around the world, surely it will be used by criminals, everything has its negative effects, but modern criminals nowadays are using more hidden ways to hide from governments control, that is why cryptocurrencies are becoming the effective method for criminals to use for illegal activities more and more.

Lately, every rumor and regulation made by a country always involves criminalization. the government always claims that crypto and bitcoin are money launderers and can be used by terrorists. but basically, all the patterns in life are always potentially crimes.
