I have been trading on this exchange for 3 months during this time there were no problems, I entered and withdrawn amounts up to $ 7,500.

Been using Tradeogre for several months now to trade CPU mine-able coins for LTC.  Been very happy so far and 100% no issues.

So far all I do is trade a few different coins for LTC and then withdraw LTC.

Can anyone explain how to calculate the 0.2% trade fee? Who pays it, the seller or the buyer?

I'm basically trying to figure out how someone can make money trading and what the break even points are considering fees.  Is it even worth "buying low selling high" when you have small amounts.  Ideally I'd like to setup a spreadsheet with the different coins I mine to show the impact of fees and get the true overall net mining profit and therefore pick the best coin to mine at that time.

Thanks for any info you are willing to share.

Edit: I traded 84,000 Turtlecoin for LTC and doing the math I was charged the 2%.  Still don't know if there is any advantage to be a seller vs buyer on TradeOgre.

This place has been on fire lately. A lot of promising young projects got listed here and now they're getting discovered. It's a real gem factory.

Hi, thanks for the info but their Twitter seems dead since a while ago (July/August 2018). No one bothers to reply any messages (know at least 6 people that have tried). There is no contacts on their website either. TradeOgre on Reddit is advertising "tradeogresupport@protonmail.com" as the official support email address but there is a scammer operating that email address and trying to extort BTC from coin devs to get listed on the exchange. No one knows what's the official TO position about that.

This situation is just ridiculous because this exchange fails basic standards how to run a business.

That's a shame!

That doesn't sound right. I've contacted them via twitter multiple times (~ 10 times in total I guess), mostly about coin daemons being offline, and about some other stuff, and they've always replied within 24 hours. Last time I talked to them was not that long ago. I do agree that having twitter as the only means of contacting them is far from ideal, but that part about you and 6 other people being ignored seems very strange. Maybe it's the topics you're trying to discuss? You mentioned some coin listings, I suppose if they get a lot of requests for listing all those shitcoins made every day, they might choose to ignore some (or all) of those requests. But general support like daemons in maintenance, issues with transactions etc - those seem to get responses in a timely manner, at least in my experience.

Regarding the scammer impersonating tradeogre's staff, this individual (or group of individuals) is monitoring TO's twitter and targeting projects that enquire about listings via posts/mentions. Then he/she sends a coin listing offer email to the devs asking for a small fee to get listed in hoping to extort some btc from them. A close dev of mine asked him for a proof of ownership/identity (twitter or tradeogre official website) that he failed to complete. So, he just declined the offer and tried to contact "official" TO twitter, not verified by the way, but no feedback...

It's easier to find this scammers email than the "official" one and people could get easily scammed because the guy is persuasive and there is no way of confirming TO contacts. This scammer is using tradeogresupport@protonmail.com.
