ETHNAMED

Founder: Andrey Stegno (personal project - experiment)
Chat: https://t.me/ethnamed
Website: http://ethnamed.io
Country Producer: Ukraine
Token name: NAME
Status: Community Wanted

--------------

Let's look at domain names that have been created to ensure that people do not write the ip address 172.217.16.14 since it is much easier to remember the name of google.com. This simplicity is the Genesis of the World Wide Web. Domain zone is first decentralized system created by mankind. With the growing popularity of the Internet, millions domain addresses were sold. This is a huge and highly profitable market for registrants. Now there are 2943 registrants.

Now let's look at the Ethereum address. For example 0x0472ec0185ebb8202f3d4ddb0226998889663cf2 - it looks even more difficult than the ip address. Therefore, it is logical that the need to establish a decentralized system of binding names to addresses.
But we do not need to create the DNS, since we already have a smart-contracts of Ethereum that allow you to program the logic addresses already existing in the decentralized environment. So is there Metamask open-source project that allows you to integrate the functionality of a contract as a phone book. Plus, this all can add a few extra features that will compete with human errors entering the address and prevent hacker attempts to steal money.

Q:Why I like this project?

A: Because it is not a betting, gambling but still kind of utility token. We can use Ethereum as database for addresses and build the registrant business behind. Please read the whitepaper https://docs.google.com/document/d/16W9E3lLrlkhbjklWLAEmPjF8Ovl8gBUmT8MsOZM0WjA/edit?usp=sharing

Project is at the stage of origin, so you can still influence the course of its development. All the points can be discussed and good ideas can be implemented.

---------------

Please do not ask for bounty, tokens, etc. My goal is to build the community.
This is kind of experiment for me. I would like to try DAICO, Trustless ICO model.

Trustless ICO model - that everything will be under your control (No luck required. No unpredictable exchange price happened)

Hello there.

Does your idea do something different than the already existing ethereum name service?

not bad idea. But however, if we are talking about a binding to names, then anonymity is lost. Although there is no anonymity in the network. Good luck and all the best!
