The first two lines of this file 808.conf were fundamental to solve my problem and get a perfect working of the wallet.

I wouldn't be surprised if they delisted 808 coin due to their incompetence. If that does happen, it'll hit 808's value pretty hard.

We really should look into updating the wallet software so it has way better connectivity

The problem is with 808 coin is that people don't have to leave their wallets open for staking until after the 8.08 days as you know. So this is why I think we always have active connections dropping out and coming back online every now and then. Maybe the dev could some how make it so that there are always connections which would fix the issue we are seeing with Cryptopia wallet having no connections.
