美国白宫前首席策略师班农应邀出席法国极右国民阵线举行周年大会。班农在大会上演讲称：“我并非来当老师，我是以观察员身分来欧洲学习，我学到是你们作为全球运动的一部分，但大于法国、意大利和匈牙利，比整体都要大。”出席大会是他欧洲之行其中一站，目的是宣扬他的“闭关”和仇外讯息。他表示，应把种族歧视、仇外情绪，和本土主义的标签，当成“荣誉勋章”。极右国民阵线主席玛丽娜·勒庞，在台下热烈鼓掌。
