I'm not able to add an avatar to my profile, neither URL or File upload work.

Any ideas?

It doesn't work for me either. Someone said it is broken. I think it is because of the hack on this site.

That's somewhat correct.  It's not broken it is one of the features that are turned off currently due to the hack.  If you search you will find threads about it, but no announcement if/when disabled features will be turned back on.

That feature is not enabled right now, I don't believe there's an ETA for when it will be back.
