Swap to UK you are very lucky to live in a country that supports the development of the world of crypto, it turned in my country that is in Indonesia, here the government did not support the existence of bitcoin and assume the existence of bitcoin can mengangu state finances and I hope someday in my country also like in your country.

Okay in my countries cryptos are Legitimate and regulated. But seems the U.S are controlling the media we could see a good development on cryptos, Governments should read carefully what they are saying. they Killed bitcoin many times but stiil they are here to get help the Economy as a whole.

Are they still collectively referred to as bitcoin, or do news reports and local media actually dive into their merit and the difference between coins, projects, companies etc. I'm from Canada and most of the current news is wavering between reports of malware installing mining agents and the Canadian Security Exchange cracking down on ICO sales.

There is no clear ban yet in my country and the blockchain technology is praising but Bitcoin and the crypto money are viewed negatively. Many people come to the crypto market only for more money and they do not know about philosophy. Local exchanges work but crypto investment is described as a dangerous investment in the media.

That's interesting that the technology that crypto's are based on, essentially, is praised, while the by-product is vilified.

The media only speak about Bitcin and only if the news are negative, when grows they just keep quiet and at most mention one or two other alternatives but only in specialised press.

In my country cryprtos are hardly shown in a news so that means my country is not affected much about bitcoin alrhough i heard the government is getting involve in facilitating in discussion about bitcoin in some school. I think cryptos in my country is not that big deal compared to other countries since this is not legal or even banned.

In my country, the government has allowed tokens to be exchanged, mined, sold and purchased for national and foreign currencies and electronic money. Moreover, it is now possible to give and bequeathed tokens, and the activities of mining, buying and selling cryptocurrencies are not considered an enterprise. It is not necessary to declare cryptocurrencies and revenues from operations with them until 2023.

My country has no regulations yet that is why i loved what i am experiencing with cryptocurrencies because there are no limits compare to those countries like china which you cant do anything because the government restricted you to do so.In our country you can do mining trading and anything related without any taxes.

in my country crypto is still not legal because the government has not approved its use financially but to trade it I think it is not prohibited but the government does not protect its transaction

I think there are only few people in my country that has an idea about bitcoin and other cryptos. Very few establishments accepts it as a mode of payment. Sometimes the media talks about it and it does not give positive reports.

Can I ask what country that is? That's very interesting that it's quite open/legal, yet, isn't required to be claimed as a capital gain for another 5 years.

Do you know if, in 2023, you have to suddenly claim total capital gain from your initial investment - or - does it just kick in during 2023 for that time moving forward?

maybe investors in your country are very comfortable and safe to invest with crypto currency and you are very lucky, in my country crypto still can not be legalized or fully inaugurated because the government in my country has not authorized crypto currency as an official transaction tool

Criptos are small in my country and the press is keeping all of the hype low and are sending plenty of bad news at any occasion, so it is likely to be minority for a while.

in my country, there is no government rule about cryptocurrency.
however, it isn't allowed transactions using bitcoin.
You only can exchange bitcoin to FIAT then buy the things which you want.

My country not banned cryptocurrency . here my country bitcoin trading legal so i am really happy to invest any time in crypto . I hope every govt can accept it for crypto developing.
