Thus far I have been mining pretty big well known alt coins like Zcash,Monero, ect. But now I want to start mining some Alt coins that are less known and have much less mining difficulty. Yes I'm well aware that this means the alt coins in questions will be not nearly as valuable at the moment, but that's the gamble i'm trying to take, to mine maybe a few coins that are in the infancy or just maybe haven't caught on yet and have the chance to grow exponentially rather than just a decent amount. So any thoughts guys ? I have been taking notes on some I found through Googling, but I figured I should ask my peeps on Bitcointalk being this seems to be by far the best crypto forum.

Btw first post hi all !

Unless you are talking about new coins that are yet to be on an exchange, you are better off mining the most profitable coins for your rig. If you want to speculate on other coins that are less profitable to mine, you can get more coins by mining the most profitable coin and trading for the other coins.

Take for example a coin like UBQ, which has  a lot less difficulty than ETH and you can mine full units per day with only a couple cards, but on average it's 25% less profitable to mine than ETH. So even though the ETH difficulty is much higher than UBQ, you will be able to accumulate more UBQ by mining ETH and trading for UBQ, than mining UBQ directly. e.g. a single RX 570 mining ETH makes ~16800 satoshis per day and mining UBQ it's only ~12400 satoshis per day. So with UBQ at ~22442 satoshis, it would take you ~32 hours to get 1 UBQ by mining ETH and trading for UBQ vs 43 hours to get 1 UBQ by mining UBQ directly.

You can do what the previous poster said or you can also check the altcoin announcement section for new mineable coins.
Every now and then a fresh new coin pops up and is ultra profitable for a few hours. You need to be fast though.

You must find fresh new coin and farm it on low difficulty before it hit exchange, in my experience you can make some pocket change that way. Selling and buying takes place inside comunity, and also those shitcoins rarely makes good price these days.

usually, a new coin has a low diff but isn't ensure has profit and not sure some Pool has added it. you can find a new coin altcoin/announcements section but not all new coin can to mine.
