Actually investors are only looking for profit. I think coin or project whish provide passive income will atracts more investors than only coin which provide good feature but the price keep falling. Cryptocurrency is a medium of exchange which is also place to store value. The price is important.

The most important thing for any cryptocurrency is that it has a real world use and you have missed that off your list. It's all well and good having new amazing altcoins that claim to one day achieve 1m transactions per second but it's completely useless (as impressive as it is) until someone uses their blockchain for something real that solves a problem or generates an income.

Unfortunately the most successful projects are still the ones that have big hype. There are tons of projects that don't offer any great technology or innovative project but just have enough money for PR.
