The president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro said Petro cryptocurrency had raised $5 billion during Pre-ICO. He also noted that this cryptocurrency had strengthened the country’s international reserves.

Hong Kong based cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex made a statement about Petro coin today. Bitfinex said that it wont support Venezuella s oil-backed Petro currency. As we know, the US government banned Petro currency.
