Hey all, I downloaded Pegasus wallet from Google play and have had my Stellar in it for a while. I wrote down my password and secret key and just was hodling it. I decided to move it back to an exchange and when I tried, the wallet didn't recognize my password and the Pegasus wallet creators didn't leave info on how to use your secret key to recover and send your Stellar. I cannot find their website also. What's going on here. Can anyone help?

I fear you may have fallen for a scam, my friend: http://www.pegasuswallet.com/

I found the info on the wallet here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2832930.0

The site really doesn't work.

Try tweeting to them here: https://twitter.com/PegasusWallet
-tell them your issue. They were around 10 days ago. I hope they respond.

If not you can join their discord: https://discord.gg/CC3eNX7

I'm sure other users might be able to help you in their official discord ^

Thanks for the help, but dude how can it be a scam when I downloaded it on Google play. So, you're saying that even the Twitter page is a phish? I even was about to post on Reddit. If Pegasus is legit then why wouldn't they even post about hackers copying their wallet?

Hi,

if you have saved the secret key aka private key of your stellar address saved, you can reclaim your XLM at interstellar.exchange (yes, that's a url) for example.

just make a new wallet and import your secret key there, you now have regained access to your XLM,

send them from the old pegasus wallet adress to a new generated interstellar.exchange wallet, so that if pegasuswallet was compromised you completely put them out of reach of the pegasus wallet app...

It's like they've vanished. Even the pegasuswallet user on reddit is now listed as 'account deactivated'

To be honest, I've never heard anything good about storing your crypto-currencies on a mobile wallet.
They have all ended up to be a scam, or for the most legitimate amongst them, they tend to lack securities and are full of flaws.
You should by all means avoid these kind of wallets, and come back to store tour crypto-currencies on a desktop wallet.
Moreover, lots of mobile wallets are propriatary software, and thus are not backed by a libre community, so it's kind of difficult to have any good advice on their source code.
