Good news for us in the U.K and Europe which should result in
faster FIAT transactions in and out of Crypto.

Some interesting points:

if Coinbase goes bust or ceases to operate as a business going forward,
the idea is that any fiat currency the company is looking after on your
behalf won’t get absorbed with it.

Coinbase’s e-money license will extend beyond the U.K. to 23 countries
within the EU

Coinbase says that the EU grew twice as fast as any of its other markets
in 2017 and that the U.K. continues to be its largest market in Europe.

I like that kind of news. But I do not like the fact that this is happening within the closed society of the EU. The bitcoin community is still divided. This is a bad thing. It is impossible to win in a separately closed territory. All must participate in the struggle for their rights. I therefore do not welcome the decisions of individual countries.

Just recent we see the coinbase releases tax calculator to calculate the taxation. Now another adaption from coinbase team launching centralized emoney licenses in EU.
I am user of coinbase and for me this is a great news and they may update the sometime about hlthis on their wallet.
