social media bans has impacted a strong effect on cryptocurrency as they provided platforms to reach more people. but i think the influence of cryptocurrency will still be there despite the bans, we need social media, but we still can survive without it

Share your views on why some social media want to ban advertisement on crypto related stuffs and what will happened if one day twitter also stop crypto advertisement as it is one of the most shared platform for crypto now.

I think the main reason remains the same and the classic.
to prevent the number of ico being abused and become a scam. this is a major factor in any ban and every case.

I think they're being pressured by the new government regulation and have to protect their interest. It is a good news in the long term as crypto related search engine/social media will gain momentum and people will start using them instead. Crypto is here to end the monopoly.

I think because facebook were still studying what bitcoin is and how good or how bad it is to facebook community. The moment Crypto coin  can prove to them their worth Crypto will be back in fb. In the past few years ICO's were advertising on facebook which others are believe to be a scam so facebook now is studying deeper what is the negative and positive impact of this new technology.

it twitter bans ads then it will be one of the biggest blows to crypto, Facebook hasn't necessarily banned the adverts completely, there are ICOs that are considered i legit that aren't allowed on Facebook. don't however be surprised if these social media platforms comes up with their own cryptos.

What I am almost sure of is that telegram will never do it. if they have started their own ICO and create coins, they are interested in cryptocurrency support and promotion. Thus, we will use the help of Telegram.

How much time has passed since the ban on Facebook ads. During this time, I have not noticed any progress in this area. Advertising as it was, and remained. Instantly ban everything and block users who advertise ICO and crypto is not possible. Everything takes time.
And about Twitter, so this is nonsense. There is no official statement. Someone just ran the fake news into the network.

Now there are a lot of bans on the part of many countries, I think that today these are very strong measures, in order to simply prohibit and stop the spread of crypto and decentralization, I think that this is our chance guys.

Did you see an advert of Forex long ago? Depending on the country for the last 3-5 years it is forbidden to advertise Forex. So I don't think something terrible might happen. I think that a ban on advertising is a filter against idiots.

Facebook, Google and Twitter are announcing that they are no longer accept crypto and ICO related ads on their platform due to numbers of reported that their users were being scammed by fake and bogus ICOs so this is their way to avoid their users to get scammed in the future as they don't support any ico ads appeared on their platforms.
Social community media are supposed to be bringing people closer to their loved one so they don't want their users ruin their life due to their face ICO ads.

Instead of taking this as a negative news this should be taken as a positive news for the crypto world. As it will prevent new users from getting hacked or phised out of their coins. Also this will prevent scam ICOs and future coins like bitconnect from promoting themselves to new users.

The social media banning these advertisements comes after crypto related companies have flooded these networks with their ads, from trading platforms to cloud mining sites to casinos and ICO which have been multiplying like crazy since last December, i personally saw this coming because i personally have grown tired of these ads constantly piping up in my profiles even though i am not that interested in investing into them and i can see a lot of people having the same issue and probably that is why they got removed, it might influence the crypto market a bit but not that much, because it survived before any advertisements were made and it will survive after they are gone.

My feelings about bans from social media are simple and clean: I think that soon they'll launch their own coin, I have no doubt about it. Everybody is following the crypto train, and they want to jump on it sooner or later

Twitter is already following the footstep of google and facebook. The main effecf of these banning from social media will be the popularity and information dessimination of the ICOs. Also less and less investors would be more interested in investing because they might think that crypto is scammed thats why they were banned.

Shouldnt our main concern be to have faith in such trusted names, whether facebook, twitter or google, believing any measures taken would solely be for the benefit of the users.
That’s true. All these step that are being taken by governments and social networking sites against advertisements are for protecting people from investing in the new ICO’s and new tokens that may be scam or ponzi sites.

New investors usually pour money into projects just by seeing their advertisements and don’t consider the need to do research and analysis about it and finally end up losing money to some scam tokens or projects that don’t really have any utility.

Recently, twitter has also announced that it is going to ban the crypto advertisements. The recent dip was due to this news and g20 meeting news. Facebook and google have already announced that they are banning the advertisements related to crypto currencies and new ICO’s and token. I don’t think this will affect much to price of crypto currencies and their market cap.

The dip is only temporary and the market must recover soon. All major social networking sites have planned to ban crypto ads that related to ICO’s and token. I thing the advertisements of coins that are already in market and exchanges will continue to stay.

Social media is banning crypto-related ads because too many people are falling for scams.

As a result, people tend to blame these social media companies for their losses. Although it is really technically none of facebook or twitter's fault, they placed blanket bans on the entire crypto advertising industry to solve their problem and accountability with people getting scammed. There is nothing we can do about this because people will keep falling for scams if this isn't enforced.

Bad news! But we still have Bitcointalk to advertise here)
Of course, one can advertise crypto currencies, new ICO’s and tokens by making their own site, writing blogs on them and also on forum such as reddit and bitcointalk.org. only the advertisements are getting banned and not blogs, videos and information about crypto currencies and blockchain technology.

Now people will be bind to search ICO’s and do research about them before investing in them. Also banning of new ICO’s and tokens puts the top crypto currencies at advantage as people will now start investing in those coins when they don’t see ICO’s around.

There are people who take youtube videos for bounty campaigns. Will they continue to do this job? Is this the reason for the current price decline? Everything going red again Sad
I think we'll see a buying opportunity Smiley
Yes, I think they will continue to do their work and the banning of advertisements has nothing to do with the content of a video. People have right to post information in video and share knowledge to other people across the world and moreover they have clearly mentions that they will be banning the advertisements of crypto currencies and ICO’s, so that doesn’t really have anything to do with the content inside a video whether it is on bounty campaign or other crypto currencies.
