Hey guys,

I am so devastated right now, I fell for the most stupid scam anyone can fall for, I don't know how I could be tricked like that.

I saw this link https://www.coỉndesĸ.com/EOS-halves-token-amount-for-block-one-leaves-tokens-to-be-claimed/ and thought it was a legit coindesk link, so I didn't check the following link and got phished. This is my address, more than 10k of crypto are lost: https://etherscan.io/address/0xA9Ee7b80AC0C00fa34B5EBea14b92Bed31BcC8Ae#tokentxns I tried sending a little bit ethereum back (from my backup account: 0x706427De5CaFD474815b5b837F9F9300971E015D) to rescue some assets, but I wasn't able to, so i have to give up the account. I am really devastated right now, I worked really hard on this portfolio. This is the scammers address: https://etherscan.io/address/0x4bda2984407ae0aec6a127783e7910fdfd4dc6f0#tokentxns - it is still lying there.

Is there any way I can get it back? I know it's my own fault for falling for this scam. But I'd do anything to get it back.

And always check the site you are on, I know everybody knows this, but one moment of weakness and it's all gone.

it is sad. Scammers are everywhere.
Now you need to be very careful not to fall for such fraud.
Maybe someone can help you solve the problem, there must be experts.
It's a pity that such scammers go unpunished

Did somebody compromised your private key? Coz If you give your eth address it's safe but if it's private key you are in danger. Well lesson learned never ever use ur bounty Eth address, you should separate them.

I really know how it feels. I felt the same way few days ago. I got phish as well and I don't really know how it happen. No matter how careful we are, we will get stupid at once. Unfortunately, there is no way to recover your tokens no matter what you do. I think this is a lesson learned for us. Never trust any websites and be mindful next time.

Beware the website is still online, I suggest to add a disclaimer.

Next time always check the certificate before input your data. It is easy, check a guide for your browser

Where did you find that link at? Because my question is that if it wasn't from a trusted source, why would you click it? there are so many phishing links nowadays, so you have to be careful of what you click on. Just be careful next time...

I am not sure, I was on facebook before I guess. The fake coindesk site even has the "secure" tag on the top corner.

But all in all it was way too obvious, I should be ashamed for falling for this. But believe me this won't happen again
Next time you have to be careful, don't just click the links what you seen. There are many links that the way to hack and scam many people in the Crypto World and I advise to you be careful on what you click.

False link or not, why are you entering your private keys and/or addresses? The only time should be when you are sending, no-one needs your private key to send Crypto.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss of crypto but there is no way to get your tokens back, as i read the link it is all about tokens(correct me if i'm wrong). All you can do is you can trace the hacker and check his address(let's assume the hacker is a he) and that's the time you can check on what bounties did he join. If the hacker use alternate wallet address just for hacking there's no way you would know his bitcointalk username.

This is why i loved metamask extension it will prevent me from these phishing sites, suggesting you install metamask extension because it will block your browser from getting into a potential phishing sites, prompting the users that it might be potential phishinh sites really helps it saves me from getting hacked because last month i am so stupid to click a phishing email and redirected me into a fake etherdelta website but metamask saved my ass.

EDIT:

After I found out someone stole from my account I sent all ether to another address so he can't send assets away. He then sent ETH from KuCoin Exchange to my wallet and continued robbing me.
Does KuCoin have any kind of personal confirmation or validation so they could trace who it was?

You could have saved from being hacked if you have installed metamask extension because this extension will protect your browser and private keys from these phishing sites, your private keys are encrypted to the metamask that is why these people wont have chance to get those tokens of yours, you should be more careful next time.

That's just terrible. I can not even imagine how I would feel if the scammers stole from me 10k from my wallet.

I use an extension for the browser that blocks suspicious sites, but if I myself accidentally go through a phishing link, then everything is lost
