Reasons are the following:

Yes, it is. If you have been reading the whole of binance future plan in the whitepaper and i guess you have known about that, Binance applied to buy and burn system to decrease all of the binance shares in the circulating supply. Less supply means there will be more value for binance token. I think you need to read binance whitepaper again but the decentralized exchange site becomes an interesting news right now from binance.

I don't think it's a good time to buy BNB, the price just pumped so it's a good time to sell not a good time to buy. If it's because of them launching a DEX then there won't be any significant rises for a long while until this gets much closer.

From a utility perspective bnb is great!
It makes trading fees negligible and it has a vast amount of pairings to trade with.
Binance itself is a terrific exchange with great volume.
So if you do any trading there you should have some bnb.

From an inveatment perspective i would be sorta iptimistic about it.
While it most definitely had room to grow, i feel like other exchange tokens have more potential.
In particular bibix and coss.
Kucoin maybe, but if you are looking for huge teturns look for brand new or up and coming exchanges.

An interesting side not about binance, they started a bounty hunter campaign, like a legitimate real one.

BNB price is so dependent on the overall market. If things pick up and with that volumes do then the price will increase accordingly. If things continue to dip then so will its price. A DEX isn't going to change that simple fact. If you believe in crypto as a whole then invest in BNB.
