Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I think that comes in UK, right?
You may check these websites. You can buy Bitcoins online in UK through these:

https://bitbargain.co.uk/
https://bitcoin.co.uk/

Or you can buy them from Localbitcoins.com as well. Use any of them you deem suitable for your trade.

Hello,

If you want to buy bitcoin from someone, you can try the Marketplace section and start a thread there or look for an existing thread where they're selling bitcoin.

But more than likely, these people will not trust you if you're paying with PayPal. And if you find someone to accept your PayPal, they will charge 20-30% on top of the current bitcoin rate.

The best bet is to buy btc with less hassles and lower fees:

1. go to localbitcoins.com and find a cheaper seller. They have a built-in escrow service, so people are more likely to trust trades on there.

2. Try depositing Fiat into Coinbase, Kraken, and other exchanges that allow fiat deposits (i believe bitstamp does too).

Buying with fiat from your bank account will take 7 days or even 10, but it's well worth it considering the fees are less.

I'm part of a movement to make the forums better.
