Selling Advice - 60GH/s (early order) BFL Miner arrived last week

Had a pre-order for an original 60GH/s miner, finally arrived last week. It mines about 1 BTC per 5 days or 0.144 BTC per hour 24 hours (as per btcguild stats). It looks exactly like this one available at BFL now but is the 60GH/s version:

Looking for some selling advice. What is a reasonable price to ask for this unit? BFL is asking $2499 for a 50GH/s unit -- and then there is the dreaded shipping; I don't know what the arrival times are looking like now, but mine took almost a year to arrive. Next question, where's the best place to try to sell it (bitcointalk, ebay, BFL forums)?

1150-1200 Euros would be my suggestion my 5gh just shipped this week too but I think eventually I will have to either build something faster or buy another BFL to daisy chain for more BTC.

It mines about 0.11btc/day minus pool fee or 1btc every 10 days.
Around $1000 is fair price considering diff and profit. Even a $1000 is impossible to earn in his lifetime unless bitcoin value goes up.

$1000 is a good price, considered that difficulty is increasing like mad. Sell it before price drop again..

I sold mine on ebay yesterday for $1600... I plan to wait till Dec/Jan and see about getting something with that cash.  I do this as a hobby but didnt want to get stuck with equipment that in march wont even be worth turning on.

If it was up to me, I would take anything 800-1600 USD. It won't make that kind of money in 6 month time

I am considering buying one for $1500, but after reading these posts and looking at the rising difficulty, it doesn't seem like it would really be worth the effort in 3-6 months when difficulty has increased 10-fold more. Now I am thinking $1000-1200 is a reasonable price point, considering the payout and risk. They are selling on eBay for about $1500. The prices are falling literally every day locally as buyers become more scarce. My guess is you would be lucky to get $1500 by mid-November.

Avalon is selling a 60 GH/s miner for 6 BTC right now. They recently held an auction and some people were able to get this unit for between 2.21-3 BTC (which is actually a pretty good deal, as long as they ship promptly)

The single is much better from an efficiency standpoint - Avalon states that these devices draw 600W from the wall, I'm sure the single draws less than this.

Personally I'm not currently interested in anything that costs more than 10 dollars per GH/s - but that's just me.

Because in another week's time it'll make about 1/3rd that. Here's a good rule of thumb which is only good until the next difficulty jump:

A. If you're wanting this to break even (at the least) mining BTC, then don't pay more than $300-$500 for it.

B. If you want to a collectible which does nifty stuff and helps warm a room and don't care if it breaks even, then pay any price up to $1000

C. Any 60GH unit over $1000 is just like rolling a joint in Benjamins. Sure it's neat at first, but after awhile you'll feel the burn, unless you don't care either way.

If it were me, I'd be concerned with breaking even/mining up until it's no longer profitable with BTC. Then go mine altcoins fast as hell and hope everything goes up in price over time.
