Can someone please recommend a website where I can buy physical gold with delivery in Europe.

Obviously I am looking for a place with reputation. Best.

i bought some gold from coinabul, recieved with no trouble although i had to get creative to avoid paying outrageous custom fees.

Goldmoney.com allow to registered users to receive their gold.
You buy it and can arrange delivery at home or pick up at the vault.

Can I pay with credit/debit card ?

From which country are you? Because if it's from a European country you can certainly do a online SEPA transfer. 

We don't have a module for credit debit cards, since we would like to focus on bitcoin. With credit/debit card you usually pay 2,5% extra transaction costs.
