It's only need regulation but I think that the fact there will be strict regulation to the icos. That will give a huge impact to the investors because with the regulation of icos and investors will need to complete and follow all of the regulations. it's good but at the same time that will give a lot of restriction to the ico itself. But it's not so good as government's expectation. But I think that ico should get a basic regulation. I will disagree if ico will be restricted by the government itself.

ICO must be regulated for sure. I can't see any reason why it should not be regulated. This is very serious things, billions of dollars have been raised.

Many ICOs recently have been found scamming people and some of them are even busted in very early stages. but the trend is on a rising spiral ever since the cryptomarkets have rocketed last year. With these increased Mcap, lot of money is involved.  With money comes the scamsters. So I agree that we need a regulation on ICOs but the basic fact remains unchnaged that crypto world came into existence on the basic premise of deregulation and anonymity!!

And by regulating it within the existing governance framework, we are probably diluting their purpose. in my opinion, all we need is a decntralized regulatory authority, something which builds trust among masses but still free from current governmental controls .

the day is not far..it shall happen certainly.

To be honest, I have no problem on governments trying to regulate ICOs. Because based on the past, some ICOs are really trying to scam people and because it is unregulated, investors became victims. Regulation would also help crypto as it will become legit and safe especially for the curious and doubtful ones.

Ico should be regulated to avoid scams, money doesn't grow on trees. We should be sure that our money is safe with this ICO's. It will also help us lessen our choices, right now its really hard to choose what's the best ico to invest.

I personally think regulation is needed in the space now when one look at it very careful, investors are not protected in any form, just a useless tokens that have no usecase and no share of the project but my concern is that with regulations coming small investors won't be able to get a direct access to some of these good project and will only need to scrap for profit

People are really scared to just fail on something that is why they need to enforce regulation. Just let it be what it be instead of regulating it.

Yes ICO should be regulated for sure to save hard money of small investors. As we can see now a days many and many ICO coming every day to collect some fund. And some innocent and small investors who have not much knowledge about this crypto will be attracted in that project and invest their money hopping for good return but after some time they realize they have lose their money. So it should be a world wide regulation for new ICO to prevent investors hard earned money.

I think these two options will also be good for ICO itself, the more tightly ICO it will also participate ICO ICO is not good even to SCAM,

ICOs should be regulated and controlled. the rate at which they are cropping up threatens the stability of the crypto market. The fact that some of them turn out to be scams also make it difficult for new investors to trust crypto.only ICO which will ad value to the market should be allowed to launch

This whole issue started from scammers and then started from investors who are not smart and keep ending as a victim of these scammers. It is becoming appalling at some point at the way people complain and I just keep imagining that how on earth would anyone have fallen for such.

Regulation will obviously change a lot of things and then at least help those set of people in their investments as that would obviously send the scammers packing, but it will start being a tough environment to enter for small players.

agree with this opinion, the things governed by the government can be easily trusted by investors because they have felt that it is legal.

Apparently, regulations are always strict and if you cannot stick with it as a company running an ICO, that makes you illegitimate. The advantage is that it is going to end up cleaning the ICO space and we will obviously get to see a space that is totally and no longer palatable for scammers to carry out their operations, which is not bad for those who have been so lazy doing research on their own.

However, this should be more like a goodbye to the smaller investors as we will start getting to see bigger investors entering the show, and we know what that means.

I think the ICO market should be standardized, because too many fraud projects, these projects are no value, there is a hype, so need regulations to restrict, this is my personal point of view.
