I don't think it has any effect on crypto currency down move. When you look at the graphics you see this down trend is about technical data. If you have good technical analysis knowledge you didn't surprise by this move. It will recover soon, don't worry. Don't sell if you are in loss now.

Such type of delusion and nihilism is what they are waiting for..
To ban and forbid whatever they want/..
They should see understand that like - they couldn`t ban or abolish Torrent - They can`t forbid crypto world.
Whenever there is demand, supply will be generated in any case, in this or that form.

So, I do have a crypto-hope.

it will all depends on what will be the discussion about cryptocurrencies.

I think there will be calls to jointly regulate cryptocurrencies and to prevent illegal money laundering and usage of crypto for terrorists funding.

But overall I do think that this could be the start of more acceptance of cryptocurrencies when more regulations sets in
Terrorist financing is really bad and it is necessary to fight it, but the cryptocurrencies have plenty of pros and maybe not now but after a while senior officials will understand it.

Japan will call on all countries to jointly combat the money-laundering activities at the G20 summit.

The development of cryptographic currency in Japan is very prosperous. I think the purpose of this call is to strengthen the exchange of digital cryptographic currency and jointly promote the development of block chain technology.

G-20 will make unattractive the cryptos due to hard regulations and certain bans. In fact, what they are going to talk is so much important, that , according to what i know, Crypto will go to hell in 5 days.

Bad news are coming, goverments and banks want to know how much money you put in, how much you win, and who gets it. This will force exchanges to be regulated so that all "anonimous" information about clients actually disappears.

Big whales, traders and investors are not in crypto for tech. Nor are the 99,99999999% of you. They are, LIKE YOU, in for profit. If crypto is so regulated that you cannot do what attrated people to this , (money laundering and tax evasion among other things), inverstors simply will run away from this madness.

If people actually cared about technology, why would have nearly 70% of the hole value of cryptocurrencies gone?? If ETH, is so good, and has a bright future, what has changed that has forced investors that had 133 billion in this, to actually stay only 40 billion and going down?? has the technology proved wrong? Is it not effective?? NOOOOO!!!!! It's goverments and the profit of crypto vs no profit for goverments and banks what is actually DESTROYING crypto.

In the G20 we will see the hate goverments and banks have against crypto, because the more money it goes in, the less they control it. Banks are losing a huge amount of money to lend because of this, and this is why they are all against. to the point they are even banning you from using your own credit card!!!

G-20 will almost clarify how are they going to destroy Crypto with regulations. The problem you guys seem not to understand, is that you consider regulations good because they give certitude for the future. The real issue is that THOSE REGULATIONS will make Crypto not interesting for investors because, once money laundering, tax evasions, total anonimous transactions and the impossibility to track the money and who really sells it , will live crypto for the value the technology has, and this concept has been proved to be very low, and numbers talk clearly.

Hope you all guys are losing the money and you can afford that. Moreover, i wish i was wrong in all my statement. I really hope so.

Get a grip.

The country that is calling G20 for crypto regulations is Japan and the agenda is to prevent money laundering.

This is a good thing. We do not want illegal activities to keep using crypto as a way to hide their money and we certainly do not want terrorists to use crypto as a way to fund their activities too.

There are many countries who do not want to see too much regulations to kill crypto.

We are all losing money but for those of us who still have our heads on our shoulders, we know that this period of pain will pass and we should not panic.

chill.

I agree, the main issue at the moment which is up for discussion
is money laundering and criminal related activity.

There is another thread running > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3127999.0

Japan is leading the discussion and they have stated that they
want to encourage growth in the Fintach industry and do not
want to stifle crypto growth. Here is the excerpt from the
following link > https://news.bitcoin.com/japan-to-call-for-crypto-rules-at-the-g20-summit/

According to one of the Japanese officials quoted by Reuters,
“the trick will be to apply regulations to protect consumers and prevent
illicit activity, without stifling innovation in the fast-growing
cryptocurrency and fintech sectors”.

Today G20 meeting has started in Buenos Aires..
As we all know, current awfull dump of our beloved market is partially due to uncertain expectations from G20 summit..
World`s most powerfull but regressive bodies will have it`s say in these days, even about our crypto world, having it`s influence..

https://www.g20.org/en/calendar
Here is the calendar of the events..

What type and how huge effect will it have on our portfolios guys?
Regulations are never a bad thing, in my opinion. The crypto world needs regulations to mature. However, the market does not like regulations overall.

Total cryptocurrency capitalization is actually related to technology,
If an investor mainly does not pay attention to the benefits of this crypto, and also does not see the risks and high taxes, chances are they will be overwhelmed at the end, so be aware before investing ..

I am also curious about the impact of the G20 summit on the entire cryptocurrency market, as Japan's leaders say they will discuss the regulation of cryptocurrency markets in the G20 and around the world.

When the question of the cryptomarket is taken out on such high level, it, definitely, speaks either about fear or about anticipation of fine opportunities. In the first case: fear something unknown, unknown. Fear of helplessness and powerlessness, attempt to call for association against something stronger. Fear to lose control, fear to lose habitual comfort and tenor of life.
But we will be, to hope, the rational mind will prevail over marasmus and bureaucracy. 20 strongest governors will estimate the fine prospects of introduction of cryptocurrencies for world economy. Also will adopt the corresponding positive resolutions. Especially as Japan already has the most positive experience of use of cryptocurrencies in the economy.

It will not affect much on the market because Japan represent the blockchain. This kind of news is to create FUD to make the market go down. It is already an old propaganda and holders will not be affected by that. They already learned from the past.

The events of the summit could be all that's needed to set the crypto market up on high once more. Let's all hope discussions about cryptocurrency during the summit will be favourable to the crypto space as any good news from the summit can bring a market reversal to play.

All in all, we can`t anticipate anything progressive from retrogrades and bastards like Erdogan and Putin..
Our only hope if progressive countries like Japan and Germany..
As they mentioned, it`s 20 trillion market, as SEC representative mentioned earlier..

P.S. Any news from the summit? It had to begin yesterday..

G20 leaders have prepared the project of final declaration, which is planned to be adopted at the meeting of G20. In the document there is mentioned that technological innovations underlying the cryptocurrency functioning, may potencially strengthen the effectivity of financial system. In case of positive news, there is possible the recovery of the market and new wave of good news on this basis! We are waiting forward.

Even someone brings up crypto in G20, it will be brief and definitely not conclusive. There is no point waiting for any news from G20 to predict where the market is heading. BTC had never feared of government regulation. If any crypto is so afraid of censorship, it's not a true decentralized asset and not worth to invest in.

I think that too many investors within government are discreetly in crypto and don't want to pull the rug from under their feet...
