BITCOIN bounce back to $20k in 2018?

End of December 2017 was for real a good time for our coins but I am sure those time are coming back again this year

During the latter part of 2017,I advised a friend to invest inBTC.He adhered to it and bought some good amount..He then proceeded to buy more when it hit the range 18k-20k..He is now upset due to how market is reacting...Anybody here to give an expect advice?

it is very difficult to back 20k usd in this years,aft BTC increase too fast so btc need find balance point and side way with narrow oscillate a few month before creating a new cycle,i hope next year btc is leader to pull the whole market to  new level,now buy hold btc eth and some coin in top 10,i beleive  crypto market in the futrue

Yea, a lot of people did the same thing and now the price tanked. My best advice I can give you, is to tell your friend to

HODL. You might be the villain now, but when the price goes to a ATH again, you will be the Hero. Some of my friends

jumped in too, but they knew the risks. I told them that Bitcoin is still an experiment and a very high risk investment and

they still invested. Hope you did the same.

If he hasn't invested a lot, he should probably just sell his investment whenever the market recovers a bit and then use that money to invest in some ICOs. ICOs can give way more returns than BTC and I am sure that he would be able to make up for the losses he got during this period.

There's nothing we won't see in the crypto space. That's exactly what happens when noobs who knows little to nothing about the crypto space goes on to invest in icos. They begin to get misleading thoughts. Agreed, Bitcoin doesn't produce that much roi anymore but It's still king anyway.

Bitcoin can be back to 20k in end of the 2018.But if people keep using bitcoin and also keep buying it daily.We also know that few days ago google authority gave notice that nobody can not advertised about bitcoin or any alt-coin in there site for this reason bitcoin come down under 8k from 11k.Price range can be up soon depending on user ability.I think bitcoin price climb up soon if they can cop up with market and make there service legal in worldwide.

I understand how upset he is now that the price in downfall, he was not alone buying at the peak of bitcoin price. He can sell half and invest in cheap coins that has potential to grow and research first before investing as it needs knowledge not to repeat his mistake. Hope sooner the price will recover.

Depends on the gamblers, if they pump the currency via marketing and propaganda like they do sure... BTCubblecoin can go higher, but someone has to put the money to "invest" (on what I wonder) and make others millionare.

So yeah, if you put YOUR MONEY, it will eventually go up so OTHERS can get profit, then it will deflate.

Why do you think Bitcoin has a value measured in DOLLARS ? also, btw, so you know... Bitcoin is also FIAT MONEY. Electronic, blockchain based or otherwise, it is not backed by anything except trust.

One thing is certain, BTC likes to be unpredictable. Back when everyone was saying that it's going back to 1000 very soon (in 2014) we had 2 years of bear market in front of us. At the same time when people were saying that it's dead (in late 2015) It bounced back to $1000, like it was trying to ridicule all the market analysts. You just never know what will happen with BTC, but you can count on it going up in the long run just as it was going since its creation.

It is actually possible with Bitcoin to reach that price range this year 2018 no doubt for the dominator maybe a lot more than that maybe $30k before year end.  For me there is nothing impossible with what we believe most especially the acapability of Bitcoin community to make a bigger leap towards new all time high's. I am one of those who looks forward for that good result though a lot can possibly happen regarding that time span just like what had happened way back 2017. By now it is good time to invest more because we have to expect the mooning of Bitcoin forr it's way up to millions.

Don’t panic because the price of bitcoin this year will surely go higher and make a new ath. A great opportunity to own it now at a cheaper price and just hold on it fot months and your profit will come. Its a matter of time but I’m sure this thing will happen.

I know that eventually Bitcoin may recover to that price or even more. Let us just wait for all these bad news to disappear and everything will be okay.

Did you ever mentioned to him that bitcoin isn't just going to move forward and there are chances that it can go sideways? Have you ever told him about the risk that he will take upon investing to bitcoin. I'm into the same situation but I didn't forced my friends to invest and I explained to them that many are cashing out so that made the price lower but on these moments the best thing to do is to hold and just wait for the price recovers. Nothing will happen if he will sell or if he chose to cut losses, he can recover few bucks but with loss.

give him a picture of the bitcoin itself that is fluctuative ... give also the spirit that the price is sure to refer back from the price developments from previous years ,,, make sure that surviving is the best way to go through, do not do panic selling because it is harmful .. .

Exactly. Look at the bigger picture, not only last couple of months. One one hand you need to be ready for halving down to 4 or 5k USD (which is unlikely, but possible nevertheless) and on the other hand you will likely see new all time high just by patiently waiting. But don't tell your friend that this will happen in the next month but sometimes in next two years, no one knows when exactly.

Nobody know what the future Hold. But am certain that because will hit $20k  back from April 27. Reason that Amazon we shock people because they are investing $1.91 Trillion on Bitcoin. This is an opportunity for people to turn $100 into retirement Fortune. My advice Buy Bitcoin and keep now. Because After April everything will start changing...🚀🚀🚀🚀

Many small investors bought bitcoin when the price was 18-20K. That time whales were selling their coins.
The market is waiting for that small investors to leave it and lose money. Then the price will rise again. Just wait and not be a member in that group of losers.
