So i log in the wallet and then about 10-15 min later I get another text for a 2 step auth code?  Could it be because someone else tried logging in my wallet from another location?  confused.
Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

My internet never got disconnected.  How does ip change anyway?  I thought it stays the same all the time at your current location.

The possibilities include:
-You logged in (maybe pressed the button twice leading to double request) and that caused for double SMS,I doubt IP Change would cause this as you will be requested to sign-in again "I suppose" .
-Your computer is ratted  Grin and someone has access to your data and logins.
-Maybe a small glitch in their texting system.
-you logged in two times (out and in and again signed-in) or you are imagining things.
