the monero devs have publicly stated they will keep tweaking code to keep monero asic resistant

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

please tell me what are the ASIC resistant coins

example, your body is bacteria resistant, but some bacteria get inside your body, so even though your body is bacteria resistant some get inside and the same thing applies to monero and other coins, they are asic resistant but some asics gets inside it.

What the coins need is a permanent vaccine x asics.

Monero should be tweak its algo in April and Bitmain have to deliver by May. With 1 month Bitmain might give new firmware to adapt tweaked Monero's algo WHILE GPU mine speed might be lower with that new algo. There is a chances to everything that makes crypto interesting..

Bitmain released Antminer X3 for CryptoNight, but Monero is switch algorithm, and actually the new chip could not be tape out quick, depends on the silicon process, so I think if Monero changes algorithm each few months, it could kill such kind of cryptonight ASICs for sure. It's interesting that my friends who are mining ETH and ZEC, they asked me the same question as well, I'm not sure about ETH (it's going to use PoS maybe next few years), but for ZEC it requires a massive amounts of RAM and it limited by memory access, so it strong resistant.

So basically, Bitmain is a SuperBug (Extremely Drug Resistant Bacteria) Colony.

And recently, it unleashed a new bacteria with a powerful new strain called Antminer X3 - CryptoNight 220KH/s (already soldout).
Goodluck to Monero and Electroneum Miners out there.

Hey, this site just released a video about this topic in specific. Take a look at it

Basically, Monero said they won't allow Bitmain to centralize Monero mining. SiaCoin made some comments about it as well, which could mean that more and more coins will be joining the battle against Bitmain.

So far, the Monero hash rate is about 15% of the old rate. So the GPU is working well again.
