Was Dank tripping on research chemical when he started thread back in 2012? Yes, most likely he was. Long time members remember he was one crazy crackpot.
Do calling somebody newbie is insult? No, it is forum rank.
Are Dank's post more meaningful than these one line babbles about life and father? Yes, it is!

Mods have to take subjective views on posts, and that can lead to some decisions that may not be in accordance with your views. I get this sometimes when people don't understand my English humour for example.

Should you post have been deleted? Well that's not for me to judge, but sometimes you have to just write off the deletion as a difference in life perspectives.

I thought that Bitcointalk always was a HTML/PHP/MySQL based forum. Or libertarianism, cryptoanarchy and cypherpunk based forum. Also, I did not make fun of JC Denton https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JC_Denton in any way! I actually love Deus Ex game and consider it to be one of greatest computer games ever created! But if You talk about Jesus, You must know that the father I mentioned is God the Father, not the Son! If You really understand christianity, you must know that! You closeted polytheist. And I am not taking fun about imaginary entities but about dumb zealots who are just running around and talking things that are straight against the reality we experience.

edit: Imagine I am moderator. Then I go really hardcore and convert to islam and start deleting all posts that are even slightly critical about jihadism. Will it be OK?

I think the important part to focus on was the bolded section. Its way too bad this needs to be said in the first place, and we couldn't leave the joke unreferenced.

Resurrecting a dead post seems like cooking a decaying rat (pardon my expression if you have a weak stomach.)

Rather than delete posts pre-2012 or about the time I think it will be more profitable for the forums if those threads are just locked up but not deleted for history and research purposes. For me, I like going back to the caves.

They didn't delete the whole thread, I guess he meant that they deleted the post that pumped the thread and every post that followed it.
