How do we get smerit credit by the forum?

With the intialization of merit system thymos focussing on the application of merit system. Thymos entitled that we have some credit of merit by the forum. But i don't see any credited. Is it only for upper ranked members. Is there any member who get smerits credited to their account automatically. So please reply if you got. If not please reply to the thread to get proper insight of the rules and moderations.

Unless you are a merit source, you get 1 SMerit for every 2 Merit you receive from your posts. Merit sources regenerate SMerit every month.

The credit you are referring to is the Genesis of Merit

People were given sMerit corresponding to their rank. (As well as the minimum merit required to maintain their rank)

That does not apply to your user because you are a Jr. It starts only with members, and they only got 1 smerit to give away.

When theymos introduced the merit system, he distributed each user merit score necessary to achieve their rank as well as smerits depending on the user's activity in the last year, with upper bound of half of the initial merit score determined above.  Other than the initially distributed smerits, you do not get smertis automatically unless you are a merit source.  You can get smerits only when someone gives you merits to your posts.  You can get 1 smerit per 2 merits.

You have received a total of 6 merit. This is what determines your forum rank. You typically cannot lose this merit. You have 3 sendable merit (sMerit) which you can send to other people. There is no point in hoarding sMerit; keeping it yourself does not benefit you, and we reserve the right to decay unused sMerit in the future.

So you have 3 sMerit to send to a post you see as quality post.
To send the Merit to a post click on +Merit on the right upper side of the post box.
You don't have credited sMerit at the Merit system initiation because admin only provide it for Member and above ranks only but you have 3 sMerit after earning 6 Merit

As a member, my smerit has not been refilled. I found some post that really deserve a merit and when I check my smerit to merit that post, it's still 0. I think it's already over 1 month. Is member not eligible to get smerit refilled?

Of course he already applied it, he did it as he says and consistent and you have if your rank falls within the criteria (member) 1:0.5 or 2:1. He has given a link to read the fund i think so many themes that have been discussed about this, i hope you're not so lazy to find out.

One thing to clarify there my friend, Example I have ten merits in my account, then I have 5merits to give to others every month and that 5 merits  will be replenish? It means when we give the sMerit to someone who deserves it then next month I can also again reward another 5smerit to someone?
