With Asic Hardware, you can only mine SHA256 based coins.
Here the most popular :
Bitcoin (BTC) PPcoin (PPC) Terracoin (TRC) Freicoin (FRC) Zetacoin (ZET) OpenSourcecoin (OSC) ASICcoin (ASC) Butterflycoin (BFC) Tigercoin (TGC)
All Scrypt based coins can't be mined by Asic.
Wow so many bitcoin ripoffs? With so many imitators how do they have any value at all? Why would you call them that. Bitcoin is the first who came out so people prefer that most.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

But SHA256 Alt isn't very profitable and the fee is quite hard.

Wow so many bitcoin ripoffs? With so many imitators how do they have any value at all? Those Alt-coins do not usually have huge values so it might be only less than 1% of a bitcoin value. And bitcoin value is rising so if you mine 0.01btc maybe a few years later it might be $10. So i recommend the best way is to mine bitcoins.

I reccomend BTCGuild! The best for me !
On the contrary, I reccomend you all not to use BTCGuild for the security of bitcoin network. Have a look at how hashing power is distribuited: http://static.blockchain.info/pools.png?format=png This makes possible a 51% attack just targeting the three biggest pools. Someone can own BTC network attacking only three servers! This is not how things was ment to be...
