Anyway to Pay With BTC Through eBay?

I have a friend who sells T shirts and other things on eBay from Thailand to the world.

Just introduced him to Bitcoin.

Is there any way he can receive payment in BTC.

Can he advertise his products on this forum?

He can advertise his products in goods section. But i am not sure, most of them are interested here. If he is selling in ebay, that is the best place he can get more sales.

He can although sell here. Yes, most of them here uses bitcoins. So if he sells t-shirt, he can take payment by btc.

But i heard bitmit services, where people buy using only bitcoins. So you can let him to sell his goods through bitmit. So he can get payment by bitcoins easily.

Bitmit is bitcoins ebay. Tell him to post ads on there if he is willing to accept bitcoin.

I think he can put in the ebay description he will accept bitcoins as payment but the payment will be handled off site and I doubt bay buyer protection covers bitcoins.

You can accept BTC through eBay as long as you also accept Paypal or other eBay-approved methods without prejudice.  Of course, that probably doesn't do much good because most eBay buyers will use Paypal.

Do not even mention bitcoin on e-bay ,you account will be flagged and you will have your items removed for various breaches ,I personally got my items re-instated once I removed the word bitcoin accepted from my sale items .

Even my listings that did not mention bitcoin got taken down in the rush to get my listing off e-bay.
I got an apology from them saying some of my items were taken down by mistake but none of the listing containing the word bitcoin were re-instated .

Took me 2 weeks to sell some oil on e-bay ,it normally takes 3 days to sell .
I can only comment on my experience .
If you contact customer services you talk to filipino people that do not understand English ,I spent 33 minutes and was passed from 7 different specialists before being told there was nothing they could do for me  to get my listing up again .

A test listing can come in handy if you want to check your listing before posting it for everyone to see. However, to make sure people don't confuse them with actual listings, certain conditions need to be met (see below). Also, standard listing fees apply for test listings.

    The word "test" has to appear in both the listing title and the listing description.

    Have only 10 test listings at a time.

Hey thank you I had no idea that existed ,pity customer support knew nothing about that either ,or maybe they could have saved me 33 minutes of time .

Edit ,I thought 0845 numbers were dear but Sky.com have free calls to 0845 numbers here in UK.
