I had such high hopes for this company when I placed my order in March.  They kept saying they would ship in a couple of months, but it's October now and still nothing.  You CANNOT call anyone and they don't respond to emails anymore.  They have a blog with a so called shipping status, but it's not based on reality.  They claim they have shipped orders dated late March, but mine hasn't even gone into production and I placed my order at the beginning of March.

Do yourself a favor and avoid dealing with these clowns.  Don't believe me, go read the horror stories on their own forum.  Critical posts mysteriously disappear regularly, but they can't delete all the negative comments because there would be nothing left.

I don't think you'll get a realistic estimate looking at this forum. But I think many, many people got burned. Many more than that did on pre-orders in general. SMH....  Undecided

A while back I was considering buying from them. Extremely happy I didn't.

I wanted to buy as well, but luckily at the start of this year, and it was suspicious to me such delays. This forum saved me.

I bought some FPGA units and made my ROI with those before I ever got my singles.  So its all extra money, but if I had to rely on this income alone I would have lost.  Had I bought BTC with the money I would have made like 10 times what I made. So it was a bust.  But you just don't know.  You make a decision and go.  BFL was a bad decision over all for most.

I got in relatively early with the Jalepenos, so I did ok. It took BFL 9 months to ship my order though. It seems like they're reputable and they post all the warnings on their website about the possible delays and that the price of BTC is out of their control, but I probably wouldn't do it again unless there was some kind of guarantee on the ship dates.
