That's on MtGox.
It's exciting, I like it but somehow doesn't seem right.
Moreover, the price on Gox is too high related to Bitstamp and others...

The price is always higher on Mt. Gox and is it ever normal? I guess the long $140 stagnant price made us feel that way.  Where is all the Bitcoin Bubble hype in the media this time? In April they were going crazy with how the bubble was going to burst when it was about this price. |

I think at that time, the price movement was much faster. I think from under this price point to the ATH was less than a week. Don't have the same kind of frenzy this time. |

Yes but the start price was at 20. Next media Bubble hype attention will be when we pass 300 I believe. I think 200 will be quite significant as far as speculation in the news goes. And definitely once we pass the ATH. |

Possibly due to concerns about the 17 Trillion Dollar US Debt, possible lower US credit ratings, a possible devaluation of money in several countries, as well as recent news about new capital controls at some US banks. None a good sign for certain currencies.
So the price goes up, the price goes down. If you start with 5 bitcoins and haven't spent them you have lost or gained nothing. You still have your 5 bitcoins :-)

Really? At the pace we are going right now I would guess we will hit $200 by the end of the month for sure. this is why i'm scared.... Why? Past behavior predicts future behavior. We will have ups and downs. Hopefully the "ups" just keep getting higher as well as the "downs." Maybe this time the high will be over $300 and the low point will be just under $200 for all we know. It makes it more exciting this way.  |
