Hey guys,
So I just got started with bitcoin because I needed to pay someone with it and I set up a mtgox and dwolla account, put $10 into my mtgox account, converted it into 0.9btc (approximately) and withdrew that to my bitcoin address 1NbGWAqYZ5rR23ZoPGN2ye1VUbTAASiUMC
That was about 2-3 days ago and no money was deposited into my bitcoin client. I emailed mtgox but never got a response. I just tried to use the bitcoin faucet to see if my address was even working and I never received anything. On the recent faucet customer list my transaction id says no such transaction! http://blockexplorer.com/tx/e388b87968060bcf735b8849f2935635a71f285e5167729f57604aa9a8126e99

My blocks have fully downloaded (126435 blocks)

I just created another bitcoin address 13WfRuDN8HBLow7unW4RKXgAHF7hqmVcTt so if anyone want to try sending a tiny amount there (I'll pay you back) to see if it works that would be great.

Is there anything I can do about my $10?
Thanks,
Ilan

I am a noobie so don't slam me if I am wrong, but your block count seems low, I do not know if this would effect transactions.

No your blocks haven't fully downloaded - your transaction is alive and well but first appeared in block 137456

http://blockexplorer.com/address/1NbGWAqYZ5rR23ZoPGN2ye1VUbTAASiUMC

So you need to wait for the rest of the blocks to download. The windows client does sometimes seem to get stuck downloading blocks - might be worth closing bitcoin (exit, not just minimise) and starting again to kick it off again

the current block count is at 137844

Use http://blockexplorer.com/q/getblockcount to know where the block count is at
