I read an article a couple of days ago, in which a guy was saying that he thinks bitcoin will reach 100.000 $ by the end of 2018.
What do you guys think?
I'd appreciate pertinent and/or fact based opinions.

I think it is too much if at the end of 2018 bitcoin will reach 100k, I think it will be difficult to happen. I believe bitcoin will increase to 100k, because bitcoin is the strongest and most popular coin, but bitcoin takes a lot of time to reach 100k, I think 3-4 years new bitcoin can reach 100k value. |

It is a verified hard task for bitcoin and is it happened btc market cap will become very huge one. For me $30,000 should be the max price of bitcoin

in my opinion it's been a long wait for that bitcoin's price so high that bitcoin can only be delivered but in the course of time bitcoin also reaches that price when buying lots and only

I would have called you crazy if you had asked this question last year. But after the $20k ath, reaching $100k is not that hard, given that it has to only x5 from there. In the crypto world always expect the unexpected. And no one could guess when something is going to happen. I don't know when bitcoin will reach that target but I do know that it is going to break that price level.

I also read this article but who knows what would happen before the end of the year of 2018, it is exciting what would bitcoin can do in this year maybe they can reach it and I think there's a lot of people become millionaire and the poverty would be lessen all over the world, I hope it would happen this year and i want to see the value of bitcoin 1000000m$ in some other years. |

I'm not really sure if it could happen within this year. Because as i seen on reddit if MT. gox is still have much bitcoins left to be dumped, so the market may be red for months and reaching to $100k is impossible. IMO |

I think bitcoin at the end of 2018 will reach a price of 20k - 30k, and for the price of 100k bitcoin will take 3 years into the future. |

It's just a prediction that might happen. However, it would be difficult to see the value of the current bitcoin always coming down. With bitcoin prices now $ 10,000, it would be hard to reach $ 100,000. Just expect bitcoin to reach that number, and deliver surprises like late last year.

I think that would never happened, as you notice the previous dip even wont go through below 6k. Once the bitcoin price go on that level again the people will again flock and start to buy as much as they can. What more if the bitcoin price start to go below 7k again. other crypto will go beyond that point but bitcoin wont go below that.

Its NOT going to happen this year! You all forget about the MT. Gox trustee that just dumped 406 Million usd worth of Btc on the market since December? What do you think caused the sudden price drop over the last 70 days? Go back and look at the price charts! And the Trustee says he will be selling more in September. He has 1.7 BILLION worth still to sell off. Of course he denies that he is affecting the market. Wow! 100k$ each Bitcoin BTC was a big amount though I'ma bitcoin enthusiast. Perhaps, possible 30k$ to 50k$ before end of this year. So I will surely hodl some of bitcoins every time I get earn bitcoin in every ico investment which is I am going to invest in. |

It is hard to tell right now since the market price of Bitcoin is currently falling, continuously. It is hard to make assumption at times like this. Volatility is really observable right now. But I am still hoping that its market price will soon rise and recover. Investing now would really be a good idea in order to earn huge profit once the increase takes place. |

Hi!
when compare to last year in the first first 3 months BTC price was around 1000$ but in the end of year that was 15000$+ that was 15 times more than beginning of year.if we assume that also will apply to this year also then we can assume BTC price would be 100,000$.Because still BTC around 8000$(when first 3 months) But we can not exactly say that would be happen. Also Personally I believe bitcoin can be reach around 50000$ in the end of year and also i believe to reach 100,000$ it may take more than 1 year.That's my assume.

Is unlikely that bitcoin will hit $100k by the end of this year.
We are in a huge bearish market now, bitcoin maybe can go down under $5k.
But i think that can hit ATH this year and can hit $100k by the end of 2020.

I think that we have great opportunities even now. Because in the long term Bitcoin will grow tens of times. May be ten years later because of this I will be able to retire earlier and And I'll tell friends how I bought Bitcoin for 5K, 10K, 15K USD, while Bitcoin will already cost 200-300K USD. I am absolutely sure that we the price of Bitcoin will get 100K$ in 3 years.

As optimistic that i am about the whole thing, I really doubt that's ever going to happen this year. I am praying for Bitcoins to just reach $20K once again before the year ends so that those who bought from that point last year and haven't sold their BTC to make some profits. |
