The thread was opened last March when bitcoin keeps on going down that's why the OP is asking. Yes bitcoin recovered to $8K but as per coinmarket, the price is below it so we again are seeing some negatives so it looks like the current price is not sustainable because we need to break the next mental barrier which is $8500, but since we didn't I speculate that we may see the bears taking over again. I hope I wrong though.

No one asks why bitcoin go down the people are asking only when the price of bitcoin go up and to hold or sell but the price will not come back to normal stage like the last year but my opinion is wait as much as possible in case it will grow up soon it will be very positive for us.

Absolutely right the price is growing again and soon it will regain its old price which was the high price in the history of bitcoin. I mean 19000 dollars. But it is also predicted that till the year of 2018 it will be more than its previous peak. This is good news for old and new investors, because many people afraid of investment in bitcoin because of the fall in the price and so much volatility in the price.

You cannot expect the market value of bitcoin to keep on going up all the time and that there will come certain occasions in the future as well when the market value of bitcoin will go down and that can be because of any reason. You need not to be worried about at that time and that you just need to keep on holding all your coins so that you can stay safe and that you don’t lose anything.

In my opinion, BTC is drop most because of some negative or false news, the news a BTC tend to fall in the short term, at last a period of time the market will start to recover, time can prove everything. I think it's a good time to invest when bitcoin falls.

This is due to lack of knowledgeable and Experience. Instead of understanding crypto currencies people start investing on it and lose money. Actually the problem is people hates to learn new things and underestimate. Same with crypto currencies. Someone gives them wrong info which case they start hate bitcoins. But it won't affect on bitcoins. Its not our problem they're Ruined their future with there own hands.

In my own opinion I believe one of the causes why bitcoin price is going down is due many speculations that pointing bitcoin market to crash again.

Till the end of year 2017 the price volatile but not too much but in 2018 there came a big difference in the price we saw that 19000$ was the peak of bitcoin price but then it fells and fells and came to as low as 6000$. Nobody knows why the price fell too much because when it was increasing more and more people were investing in bitcoin. There is a peak for everything and then downfalls starts.
