This will definitely cause a bad impact on crypto, especially on ICOs. With the prohibition of advertising ICOs projects on google, the marketing they do will be hampered and very difficult to develop projects under construction. This is bad news. IMO

The effects are going to be mostly negative, Google and Facebook are two of the most popular websites in the entire world and are used probably by billions of people every single day the fact they banned crypto related ads means cryptocurrencies cannot reach a wider audience, this is not going to affect the big projects like bitcoin but it is going to affect the projects that are just starting out.

As both facebook and google have banned the advertisements related to the Cryptocurrency market so that Innocent People don't get scams. They are just taking some preventive measure for their users so that they do not end up with any kind of scams or fraudulent activities. It's not going to be good for the cryptomarket because google and facebook are the top two websites where Marketing and sales are done on a high scale basis and banning there may affect the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for sure.

I also saw a couple of crypto advertisements from stox and essentia one but they are in a form of a giveaway (airdrop and contest) there's nothing to lose other than people's time comparing it to an ico where people have a chance to lose money. I guess they still allow it but have strict requirements about advertising crypto.

For the effect of it i can safely assume that this type of news will affect the price since there are so many weak hands in this market. Sometime they do not read the article and just check the title and assume that the google will ban cryptocurrency.

not like that, cryptocurrency ads blocking plan by google may be done in april. so now ads are still there and after that will disappear.

Absolutely this is really a bad news in a history of bitcoin currency today. Banning bitcoin advertisement by google which is the largest online ad provider in the world and facebook one of the giant social media advertising. Maybe it is not a good thing. Banning ads about bitcoin may affect its value. Facebook and google have huge audience. But anyway, maybe it could help also since there are lots of scammers. Let us just be positive and pray that something good will happen.

You are right somehow, Facebook and Google's ban on crypto ads is good in a sense that scam related incidents greatly decreased because people with bad intentions now lost a great place to do their evil acts but to be honest, we can't deny that this step made by the two large companies not only bring us benefits but harmful effects also. Due to this ban, the sales of legit ICOs are affected because people who can be able to see their ads are reduced and the population growth of our community (crypto world) is affected also since we lose a platform where we can educate and encourage the society to also use cryptocurrency.

The scheduled ban of ICO this June after the facebook ban early this year would have a negative impact on the price. I understand that google wants to prevent advertising fraud ICOs. Hopefully, making this move would eliminate fraud ICOs but legit ICOs are also affected due to this move. So the best thing to do now is to be keen in chosing ICO. They only banned the wrong ones and possible scams/scheme that may lead to damaging those two's reputation and security, we all know what is happening scam here and there endless scams is happening almost every minute someone is scammed.
All the news about BITCOIN being risky are also affecting the communities choice of independent freedom which can also lead to another problems and may result to endless problems.

Well definitely is has pros and cons but more in disadvantages without these ads a newly made project or token can never be advertise or known to crypto investor. Facebook really banned some crypto-related advertisements, i really don't know their rules regarding this matter but they are very selective, they allowed some others but they banning some, that's why we still seeing some other crypto advertisements on our FB wall.
