The exchange announced the forthcoming removal of several wallets https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001609031-Wallet-Removal-on-March-30-2018I remind you that until now thousands of accounts have been blocked for withdrawal of funds and even for trading on the exchange. All these accounts were blocked in October 2017. These are people who live in countries and territories that Bittrex declared sanctions based on their own considerations, since their "black list" has nothing to do with US government documents. March 30 Bittrex will remove the following wallets WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF RESTORING FUNDS: 8BIT ADC AM AMS APEX ARB BITS BITZ BLC BOB BSTY BTA CCN CRBIT CRYPT DAR DGC DRACO DTC FC2 FRK FSC2 GEMZ GHC GP GRT HKG HYPER HZ J KR LXC MAX MEC METAL MND MTR MZC NAUT NET NEU NTRN OC ORB PRIME PXI ROOT SCOT SCRT SFR SLG SLING SOON SPRTS SSD STEPS STV SWING TES TIT TRI TRK U UFO UNIQ UNIT UNO UTC VIOR VIRAL VPN WARP XAUR XBB XC XCO XDQ XPY XQN XSEED XTC YBC

Just another reason on why you shouldn't keep your funds in exchanges. The fact that Bittrex change their TOS without prior notice and obliged everyone to verify their identity without the ability to withdraw funds (I was a victim of this) is more then enough to leave them.

Thank you very much for updating us with that alert. I am a trader of bittrex and I have some coins on that but not that which are in the list. I often invest in those coins which are a good company so that it secure my funds. But still it will make me alert that these type of things can happen on bittrex so in the future we can secure ourselves from these type of loses.

What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with Binance, the topic is about Bittrex. Stop spamming here.
I remind you that until now thousands of accounts have been blocked for withdrawal of funds and even for trading on the exchange.
Most likely Bittrex will not do anything about those accounts that were blocked/on hold/unable to do trades or withdrawals. They will surely defend using their TOS, it was clearly stated there that " Bittrex will have no liability or responsibility" if anything like that happens, and you agree to that terms the time that you started using the site. Unfortunately, there's no way to get the coins.

How is it I didn't get that alert? Come to think of it, I don't recall ever getting alerts about delisting coins, I even had to sell off all my 1stblood coins last week when I suddenly noticed that the wallet had gone offline and I just traded them at the nearest buy offer. Not that it was anything more than a funbag among many funbags I seem to obtain every now and then.
On one hand, we all know the risks of holding coins on exchanges. And we know even better the risks of holding some of these "shitcoins". I would say, though, that as long as exchanges get away with it, they'll be happy to continue doing so. Can you imagine all the "dead" coins guys like Bittrex must be holding? Imagine if, like others have, these dead coins suddenly get a revival years from now. Think they'll ever give the coins back?
Also, lesson to alts that show off successful listing on Bittrex. I recall late last year they charged $10k for a 3-month listing fee. Maybe some projects just thought to pay that fee, do their pump and then forget all about it.

Are they going to remove all these wallets? wow are many, but at least they gave this warning, although I did not receive anything I'm just seeing here in this thread. I do not know what the real reason they do it, but there's nothing that can be done I remind you that until now thousands of accounts have been blocked for withdrawal of funds and even for trading on the exchange. All these accounts were blocked in October 2017. These are people who live in countries and territories that Bittrex declared sanctions based on their own considerations, since their "black list" has nothing to do with US government documents.
this is because so many people have not hired lawyers and reported their case to the police... people should come together and claim their right March 30 Bittrex will remove the following wallets WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF RESTORING FUNDS:
people should withdraw their fund as soon as possible or buy another altcoin

Who would be willing to hold those scamcoins anyhow? It looks like Bittrex is really doing you a favor by encouraging you to let them go lol. Having that said, if Bittrex locked your account from making withdrawals, its not their fault that you cant verify your identity. This is what Bittrex posted in their announcement. Wallet Removal on March 30, 2018- Occasionally, there are circumstances that lead Bittrex to remove a coin's wallet or market from the Bittrex Exchange. These actions are taken to ensure customers have access to digital tokens that continue to meet our strict coin listing criteria and have a properly functioning blockchain and wallet.
- We will be removing the wallets included in the list below on March 30, 2018. Once these wallets are removed, we will no longer be able to recover these coins. Users must withdraw their coins before March 30, 2018, in order to keep them.
- The coins marked with an asterisk (*) have broken blockchains or wallets that will not allow withdrawals. In those cases, the inability to withdraw your balance is not due to the Bittrex Exchange platform, but is caused by a problem with the underlying blockchain or wallet associated with that coin.

I too got this email notification but luckily I don't have any of those coins in my account. These big exchanges shouldn't list any of the shit coins because once these bit exchange list then those coin prices will be pumped up and an investor will lose money. But anyway, they have informed us in advance to sell those shit coins but do we get any buyers now for these coins?

That seems to be a very short timeframe for a notice that is supposed to affect people financially directly.
I received the same email notification. But as I said - it's a 21 day notification and I don't think that's enough for people to even get verified once they get the notification in some cases in the past where there were problems with verification. This combined with the shitty bittrex exchange is just a recipe for disaster.
The people who were blocked withdrawals from their legacy accounts, and from sanctioned countries, they're probably just have to cop it. But I believe that Bittrex should give them special consideration since their cases are special and out of their ability to alter.
Very rushed decision and I feel like it's not fair to cancel any balances just like that where they can keep the remainder... Though these coins are shitcoins, they are assets some (dumb) people have decided to hold on bittrex, and same rules apply.

I have not receive an email notification about wallet removal same as @buwaytress, but I believe all users should have been notified regardless if they have those coins in their account or not.

Yeah, I was saying I never got any notifications from Bittrex, ever, about wallet removals. As I stated, I've only been affected once when they delisted 1stblood, and I only found out about it when I was just doing manual spring cleaning, the wallet icon had an alert next to it (exclamation mark) and only after hovering over it did I see it was about to be delisted. Sold it all off 4 days before the deadline. Who would be willing to hold those scamcoins anyhow? It looks like Bittrex is really doing you a favor by encouraging you to let them go lol.
Since when do exchanges do us any favours? They list coins for a huge fee, so if you think about it, they're doing the community a huge disservice by listing those damned coins who can afford to pay.

So, I see some people don't completely understand what I'm talking about in the first post. All people who have coins listed above on their accounts and has been blocked by SHittrex in October 2017 WILL LOST THEIR FUNDS 30 MARCH because they can't withdraw and they can't trade

[....] I have not receive an email notification about wallet removal same as @buwaytress, but I believe all users should have been notified regardless if they have those coins in their account or not. I do not hold any of those altcoins(at some point i did though it was in 2015), but still received the notification (even though my account is disabled ) of coin removal. had you ever bought/traded any of the altcoin from the list? So, I see some people don't completely understand what I'm talking about in the first post. All people who have coins listed above on their accounts and has been blocked by SHittrex in October 2017 WILL LOST THEIR FUNDS 30 MARCH because they can't withdraw and they can't trade
Well, you can't do anything dude. get a lawyer maybe? my account is disabled as well. wish i could just withdraw one last time from bittrex.
