Hello everyone!

So I made an Twitter account and trying to expand to other social medias and also start making guides and maybe video guides on Steemit.
My only problem now is getting early traction. I got some followers (under 100) and I tweet news and info about crypto really fast. There is still not any action on my page. Now I've launched a promo campaing that every retweet is a ticket to a raffle and I will choose one to win 0.095 litecoin. I wont be telling the channel here ATM because I dont want this to be removed.
Im also thinking about launching a Youtube page since it seems like its the most under saturated field in crypto now.

So what kind of an promotion you would engage in?
What kind of content is missing in cryptospace?
Are there any kind of things that is a clear NO GO to follow a channel that I should avoid?
Do people who have this kind of sites purely pop up with cross-promo? Should I think about that avenue of readers?

Every tip and trick for good content in social media and in cryptospace is really appreciated!

Twitter is an easy to work but hard to apply especially when your advertising tokens or coins. First thing, does this 100 followers a re all actually bitcoin users? If not then tahts the reason why theres no one messaging you regarding with your promos and stuff. Second, maybe twitter users didnt think your credible enough sinece you just have 100 followers on twitter. You may think its a little overboard since they only think that your not credible enough to believe in. I advise you to empower your account over time and use hashtags that is suitable with your current Promotions.

Before that, what's the main subject that you'll present on this media? (what's the campaign all about)
Do you have a different specific project connected with crypto? or you're just trying to find a way to promote crypto to public in general?
I think the "ways" that you're looking for will depend on the topic that you're into.

Quick tip, IMO twitter is the most congested for bitcoin related news/post. It could be a good & bad thing - good in a way that there's a lot of potential users in there. Bad? you have serious competition.

Hello! A quick rundown whats going on atm. I managed to get around 100 followers that most if not all are crypto-people Cheesy
I also got a like from a *top 50 coin* what was nice! Tongue ATM my content revolving around general news about cryptocurrency and big news from coins. I also add my "comments" there and include the hashtags in the text so it doesnt look off-putting. Also I made a (really basic) banner for the page. I have instagram that is not not complete yet and I have a Facebook page that doesnt have that many followers but got a lot of clicks and views on my news recap thingy.

If you have any suggestions or tips, they would be really helpful! Smiley

And yeah I have a ongoing promo on my page for a little amount of litecoin if you retweet and follow, but only 1 person did it Cheesy

Yep I noticed. I'm thinking about maybe going for the Youtube and Steemit route and start making video content?

Why are you surprised? No wonder you don't have retweets. All people know that the chance to win the lottery is minimal. Moreover, no one will know you paid the prize or gave the money to the linked account. No one wants to participate in advertising for free. For many, this activity brings income and they know the price of their retweet. Effective advertising requires a big investment.

Ill try not to sound corny but I really think there is too much of these "bot like" content channels where they just push everything and dont even care to read what they post. Many of these just do things like * HOTTEST NEW ICO MUST SEE* or *BEST INVESTMENT OF 2018! GET HYPED OR MISS OUT*. I would like to make content that people want to see and also educate them on matters that you should think about. And lastly bring out projects that actually have good plans and doing actual work, also commenting on the development would be nice(not so interesting).

EDIT so I dont spam: What about a smart contract that brings legitimacy to the raffle? I could make it uncheatable and when the prize is set it cannot be modified. Then a check from Twitter*Facebook*etc api that you liked it and the address the smart contract is released? Or is there already something for this that I could use? Cheesy

I also state in the raffle that only 1 person retweeted so he will automatically win, that doesnt bring legitimacy to it tho. so its a retweet for a chance of 50/50 to win.

Advertising Bitcoin and cryptos in Twitter is one way of promoting it, you can also add our forum link so they could check what's in here.

If your trying to have more followers, people who are into bitcoin or not, and if you just want to spread new about Bitcoin into people as much as you can you can add me @SexyJoh11672488
I can help you link with people who has more than 10k followers and lively on Twitter.

For the video posting of yours, just create a general clip how does Bitcoin works and what can it do to change someone's life or future, I thinks it's a nice start to introduce it.

Thanks for the tip, although I really want my followers to be people that do actions like talk about crypto etc*.

Hello!

I'm reopening this post for a follow-up from me ! Tongue

I've been doing the Twitter thing now and generated 170 followers(so initially I got all of them and now its just stagnant).
Im totally stuck at 160-175 followers, getting couple everyday but it seems im losing the same amount everytime.

So I am leaning to you, my fellow bitcointalkers.

I really want to educate people and try to make people even a little bit informed so they wont get scammed or take on a bad projects. One of the things Im doing atm is ICO tips at Twitter, but that isnt generating any actions, although they are getting some views.

What kind of posts and news/content would be preferred in social media in your opinion? Also what kind of sites you use for the content and what sites need more cryptocurrency content? ATM Im mainly using Twitter still and it is not good :/

Side note: I dont have money to throw into this at the moment so do not suggest paid promotions, also I want to have a real and genuine viewer base and not bots Smiley

Truely social media advert for crypto really help as a beginner but very stressful especially with the twitter and facebook which will give a lot of specification. It really exposes things easily to others, its cool working on it. the issue with the tele is the introduction of bot which is sometime  not making it original.
