Do people think we are now in a time of real uncertainty over what the price is going to do next.  It seems to defy all logic.  I thought it would go down a few days ago but it didn't.  And now it has gone down today.  Will it go further down from here around 8.1k now at this time or will it go up again over the next few days.  This must be putting people off investing.  Or are people just optimistic.

We are not in time of uncertainty. IMO, there are fuds going on to make people fear and panic sell. Just leave bitcoin alone and the good time will come.

No one will predict what will be the direction of the price, give bitcoin sometime to recover.

No one can forecast movements the bitcoin in the short term, but in the long term the bitcoin is still at a very low price, so now is a good time to buy, because the bitcoin will be recognised by the various countries.

Yeah, these times are really rough and no one really knows that what will happen in few days. The price goes up for sometimes and it comes back down as well. According to my own speculation, it would go up within a week or two but honestly no one really knows that what will happen in next few days.

Well, there are chances that it might go more down, than $8.1 k, and yeah there is 100% possibility that it will go up again within a few days. I would recommend you to hold your Bitcoin if you already have some, and if you are up to investing into it then this is the best time for you.

I completely agree to this. There is lot of uncertainty currently regarding bitcoin prices. I do not mind prices dropping as it is obvious that prices will go up and down based on supply and demand.  But the issue is that there is no clear reason behind the prices getting down.

In the long run, I still see my investments in profit and that is the reason I am not withdrawing any money even if the prices are going down for last few weeks. It should not go below $7000 in my opinion.

There are many times that FUD always win in the mindset of the people. A lot of panic sellers fear the way others tell to them. In tradings, we must be positive no matter how the market looks like. If the price will goes down, hold. If the price moves up then time to have profits.

from reading everyone's thoughts at the moment it really looks like everyone's searching for a trend to latch on to. no one likes flux very much. i think it'll take a decisive move by someone and then momentum will build as everyone breathes a sigh of relief and goes with it. even if people don't like the idea of going down, a violent move would at least test some resolve and initiate some buying.

All things can not be ascertained, if you talk about the Bitcoin price movement then it will be worth it. No one can predict the price and price Bitcoin will also always change at any time, make sure you understand that this is a normal thing to happen. Fear is certainly there, but if you always think that with the price movement that you can take the opportunity to have a margin of selling and buying then you can get a satisfactory result. Believe in Bitcoin and you should always pay attention to various aspects including news that can affect the world of digital currency.

Again it would be hard to predict bitcoin because events always seem to come that way too. Example sudden announcements that bitcoin will be banned in some country.

Right now there is no signs of trend going up and bitcoin seems to be falling little by little. It seems to be very uncertain specially we are in the months were prices are typically low.
It is hard to decide whether to buy or sell. Maybe bitcoin is just trying to gain momentum again and will peak at december and january again.

I think there are times when we are to be patient toward the gates of success, because we do not know tomorrow to succeed or not, and all of them need process, effort and perseverance. the same thing with the bits ,, we must be optimistic that we will be successful with bitcoin

Yes it's hard to predict bitcoin price right now. But I think it is very important thing to learn market cycles.
And when Im looking into market cycle it seems the up trend will come soon.
But it's just a prediction

i don't think we can call this uncertainty anymore. at least that is my view of the market.
as long as price was between $9k and $12k and didn't break either line it was uncertain which way it goes, as i was saying back then the tendency looked to be towards going upwards. but ever since it broke that line and went below $9k and stayed there things became more certain. now it is more like a bear market than anything else.

of course this can also change and reverse but for now there is no sign for it and dropping is more possible.

Bitcoin doesn't respond well to technical analysis so it's very hard to predict it's price. Some analysts have the price falling between 6000-7600.

In the short term, it's nearly impossible to predict. It is a beast like none other. However, in the long run, we know the price will increase.

I do not see any odd behviour of bitcoin. It does what it always does, sometimes it goes up, sometimes down. Two weeks ago we were above 11K, now we have about 8K. That is volatile, and volatility is the nature of bitcoin. The problem I see is in the peoples mind. Every drop has to be interpreted into an end-time-scenario. But when something is volatile, drops are part of the game.

Crypto coins are naturally fluctuating and this time of the year always come. We can't exactly predict what will happen tomorrow but this is how things work here which is why cryptos and risks are juxtaposed. It's the market correction for Pete's sake. Do not spread FUDs because it makes several people panic. Come on guys, let us stop being pessimistic.

We all can see that value of 1 BTC is going down for months,for a good part of those who are just coming in world of crypto and for others who do not understand how all this works this situation seems very bad.It is hard to explain to average user who know price was almost 20 000$ few months ago that today price is also pretty good and that BTC have good and bad years, or we may say months.

What is happen now is happen recently when price is go under 6000$ for a short time.After recovery we expect big bull run,but what we get?Now it is repeats again,price is falls suddenly in 1000$ of value-then it keep at that level(9200/8200) for few days and then down again.

Now we are bellow 8000$ and in short term it seems we're just going down.But at any point,the situation can be reversed and in few days price can go few thousands of dollars up.
