What's going on with the coin? The project is alive? I've been watching the coin for a while, I liked the project. This is the problem with all coins on yescrypt - not enough buyers.

problem is, all cpu minable only coins also get run over by botnets. mining is not feasible for a person with 2-3 cpus vs botnet owners.  Undecided

This isn't true for WAVI at all so far.

With my 3 CPUs I've created enough WAVI in 2 months to make 2 master nodes, and am well on my way to a 3rd.

That says nothing about the fact that cpu coins tend to be mined heavily by botnets. This coin is young and the difficulty is still low. Think about 2 years in the future: those 3 cpus you have will still be proportionately small compared to even a small botnet's hashrate.

It's probably the number 1 problem cpu-only coins face.

Grow the Dividend Snek! (pm me if you have questions)

It's not a problem... it's a feature. Some people lease hardware that includes power consumption and bandwidth, and even replacement parts. What better way to get some ROI on idle paid infrastructure than CPU coins... it's literally one of the flagship use cases for these types of coins...

Albeit some of them are legitimate malware botnets, but there's no way for anyone to determine the validity of that statement. Regardless, it's speculation - at best. Could just be some IT guys that are responsible for several cages across the world... wondering what to do with their idle money during non peak hours and seasonal usage...

Well, by then my CPUs will have mined enough for 20 or so master nodes ... and then all those bots will be mining me some sweet sweet master node payouts from every block they find. Sounds good to me.

i.am.the.man.of.men, Hello! Why are you silent? I have already agreed with the developers CryptoBridge. You only need to contact them and confirm that you will work with the code. They are ready to add our coin to the exchange

Wavi DEV, please consider joining us on Reddit as we'd like to host an AMA with you in a couple of weeks time. This is a great opportunity and supporters of WAVI need to hear from you. Please subscribe to https://www.reddit.com/r/wavi/ and send me a direct message at u/runningwithbeers.

still code and project seems solid, network runs without any issues. i guess if dev isn't going to show up anymore, community will take over as in most projects.

It would be nice to see WAVI on the Cryptobridge. This coin needs at least one good exchange. You can also try Livecoin.

History in the making: First ever cross-chain atomic swap KMD <> WAVI
The Code is pushed to the decentralized exchange bartadex! Hope they will ad us soon!
Join the discord wavi group to stay tuned https://discord.gg/ S8cz2r

By the way, Reddit & Discord Links have been added in the links/Info section on wavicalc webpage. If BartaDEX pulls the code, I will also add an exchange section on the webpage to be always up to date. Join the community and let’s be together creative...

Also fixed some design bugs on mobile view.
Webpage is fully free of adds and doesn’t track your ip. But unlikely, as long as free server Provider are involved at the moment, data are stored for 30 days. Looking forward to update if community and traffic grow.

Check it out on https://wavicalc. tk/

happy mining and Sry for my English.

Now we have a new WAVI Faucet with a new design. Located on the link: http://wavicom.info/faucet/index.php

Also we have an automatic system Airdrop. link: http://airdrop.wavicom.info/

PS:  I hope this system will help beginners to collect MN, get acquainted with the coin, and keep interest in it. Coins for Airdrop are taken from the Faucet wallet. The script on Ubuntu at a random time sends the coins for the Airdrop. If you want to help, you can send the WAVI to the Faucet address (see the bottom of the WAVI Faucet page).

Thank you!
