Survey targetting the USA audience: Why Haven't You Invested in Cryptocurrency?

More than 90 percent of Americans don’t own any cryptocurrencies. The principal reasons given are they are not interested in or they think there is no need for it. The second reason is it's too high risk. Followed by thinking it's a scam or it's still too difficult to understand or to use.

If it's a scam then did they forgot what the FED is really about. Did they already forget the 2008 crisis?

There are still a lot of things to do to facilitate the use and advantages of crypto and educating people about it

Nice infographic you have created. From the survey, it show that the risks, disinterested and too complicated factors are stopping the people from investing. When crypto currencies go mainstream, I am sure there will be more people understanding about it and start to get into the crypto world.

It's good that those are the two main reasons because they are two things which are relatively easy to change. With both, as more and more people begin to use cryptocurrency it will encourage people to look in to the benefits of it and also begin to convince them that it's not a scam or the risk isn't so much.

They may have forgotten because 10 years is a long time and the average person doesn't concern themselves with how their dollar is losing purchasing power everyday. The reason they don't care is because taxation is seen as the norm, and inflation goes quietly under the rug. It is hard to get people riled up about something they don't know, and at the end of the day people don't want to learn about money or how the government works. They just want their beer and to watch the game, it is sad but that is the over arching reality here.

If they borrow money to buy the latest Iphone (at 700$?) or the latest TV, then they can borrow money to buy some cryptos.

South Koreans are the most active crypto investors and the unemployment rate is near the same as the USA

There's a lot to be said for a cold beer and watching a game. While I myself am not capable of being ignorant to the financial system I do sometimes wonder what it would be like to be completely ignorant to it, while you may not do so well financially you'll probably have a lot less to worry and stress about.
