the reason why you friend did not make it because they did not do the research before investing their money.
from ordinary point of view,
people could say something like that,for example it will not last long or it will burst later on and etc etc.
the main problem is manipulation,
cryptocurrency is not a stable investment because it was a decentralized thing and nobody can control it at this moment.
that is why Bitcoin could go up and down like crazy.
but it does not mean it will die soon because of it,at best the demand will decrease a little bit because of it.
on the other hand we could not ignore the fact that we are seeing the future.

It makes me laugh whenever a blodobath like this happens,because most of the people are getting panicked,some are selling their coins at loss and some are enjoying the environment because most of the coins are so cheap and few people like me are doing panic buying instead of selling,because if you bought from the dips you will be making good money easily when the market has started to recover.

You are very good person. You are the best,  you are on the good side. They are panic sellers. It is  normal that there are bearish market after a long bull run. Just hold, it is normal on every market. Just keep your self busy first on other things in real world.

I think crypto market is not like that people comes in and make money easily 2-3x in their investment, but this market for those people who have patience to earn money. We have seen this market dumping heavily and they recover and pumping for good run but some people do not have any time to hold their coins and feared to see their coin falling and they losing their money, but if give sometime like 10-12 months to any coins it will surely give you good return. And in this falling market its good opportunity to buy some good coins and hold for 6 month, it will give decent return.

Now you can calmly make yourself a future, but when they come back, and this is exactly what happens, you can take with them the risk percentage that they will not go away again at the first fall. So this is a good test of business partners.

When i was new here in crypto i was like your two friends whenever i see some blood bath in the market i usually says that this crypto is unstable and i will lose only my money. Then i realized it's a part of my investing life, learning about the market become useful to me. When bearish market always hit, i don't bother at all right now because i know it's the part of the market. I usually buy when some of my altcoins hit low. You're partners has weak heart and not belong to this risky investment. There is no easy money in this world you need to put time and investment to make profits. I'm hoping they will learned for that scenario and understand the entire crypto market. That's why I don't tell a friend to invest without knowledge in this field.

High volume of sale for taking profit will create bearish market as price tends to drop.At this condition you can sell some of your coins and the rest keep holding for better future price.I you have additional funds you can buy more at a lower price.
