Decided to finally buy a rig and got myself two 6990 i will be one one rig and one have and advice on what pool or how to set them. And finally linux vs windows.

I would use whichever OS you're most comfortable with.  Once you get your OS to recognize all the GPUs, try mining with them on default settings for a few hours and make sure your system is stable, doesn't overheat, etc (watch the temps). If it's fine for a few hours, then you can overclock it a lil if you want to improve your hashrate, then retest again for a few hours or even a day for stability. Rinse and repeat

im thinking about leaning towards linux so i can also use it as a media server but it looks like you have to manually type in everything in the terminal which im not a fan of. and there any pool that you you'd recommend ill probably mine 24.7 and wont pool hope because i barely know what it is ha.
