It would be great to have

BFL ADS on a PPC (Pay Per Click) base...

At least... the consumer can make BFL pay for their mishaps... by CLICKING on their ads and not BUYING THEIR PRODUCT... or MASS CLICKING.... Smiley

That way BFL will pay money to the FORUM PER CLICK on their ADS.

I know as of right now BFL can "ALWAYS" afford the ADS on this forum... imagine all those money they collect from preorders?

Oh wait..

THEY DO ADWORDS right...?

hmmmmm

I know as of right now BFL can "ALWAYS" afford the ADS on this forum... imagine all those money they collect from preorders?

Before the forum hack and the advertising bubble burst, BFL hadn't purchased ad slots for a few weeks. Pretty sure the forums has no intention on extorting money from BFL, and to be blunt, I'm quite sure that the current auction system is the most fair, and most profitable.

Week 97: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294878.msg3228520#msg3228520

Week 96: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=290007.msg3160567#msg3160567

Week 95: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=284843.msg3105242#msg3105242

and BFL won advertising on Week 94.

I think you misunderstood me....

I am not against the forum making good money as long as it goes to good cause...

I am somehow annoyed seeing the MONARCH ads from BFL as of right now...

I know they paid good to win the bidding system... but still that is not enough... considering they are trying to grab more customers (naive ones) to buy their products... AND NOT SHIP!

If they want their ads displayed... or clicked... they need to pay per click...

so those consumers/forum users who pre-ordered and got their hardware 12months later can click on their ads so BFL PAYS per click on bitcointalk...

and not buy a product...

Anyway...

it is just my own little way of asking how to make BFL pay... for all the unfair practice they are doing...

Seems very self-centered - the forum (with thousands of members) is not going to change so that you can do click fraud.

maybe you can consider it self-centered... but I don't....

I am pretty sure my thoughts will be the same as with those other consumers who were ripped off by these advertisers...

and hey... if consumers do that... the forum gets more money from these companies who make false claims...

so consumer wins... forum wins... and companies should think about making false claims...
